CHAPTER-58

Heer takes the mobile.

Heer: Hello

"Heer bhabhi"

Heer: Kaun????

"This is Meher. Preet's friend"

Heer: Meher oh yeah..

Meher: Aap ne mujhe call kiya tha shayad

Heer: Haan mujhe tumse bohut zaroori baat karni hai Preet ko lekar'

Meher: Mujhse'

Heer: Haan..

The talk goes on for a while and then Heer ends the call. She turns around to see Prem sleeping on the bed. She walks over to the bed and lies down beside him. She thinks about the call and then snuggles herself close to him. She opens her eyes the instant she felt his grip over her pulling her even closer. She sees him grinning and the moment he sees her frown smile vanishes from his face.

Prem: Heer kya hua? Kya tumhare bf ne tumhein chod diya kya? Don't worry main hoon na

Heer: Premmmmmmm

Prem: Sorry. Ab batao kya hua?

Heer tells Prem about how Preet didn't go to stop Meher from leaving and even didn't express his feelings to her yet.

Prem: Preet aise kaise kar sakta hai??? Usne toh kaha tha'woh usse jaane nahin dega aur,'.

Heer: Haan par tab buaji aagayi thi..shayad usse mauka hi nahin milaaaa..

Prem: Lekin woh toh'

Heer: Haan bohut bada badmash hai kisise apna dukh bhi nahin bat raha'Pratham bhaiya se shayad chupa nahin saka..bhaiya ko pata chal gaya..tabhi mujhse bhaiya ne kaha ki mein ek baar Meher se baat karoon.

Prem: Yeh Preet bhi na..tumne baat ki???

Heer: Abhi usika phone tha..

She tells the summary of the talk with Meher.

Prem: Good kab aarahi..

Heer: Kalll..

Prem: Chalo ab chinta mat karo..so jao..mein kal Preet se baat karoonga..

Heer: Teek hai.

The next morning, Juneja house's full of life with people running around attending to various errands while the lovebirds were sleeping peacefully in each others' arms. The hustle and bustle outside didn't seem to bother them in any sense.

Gayatri and Gauri are instructing the servants the things to do while Lalit and Pratham are busy preparing the guest list and making calls. Preet and Kunal went to shop for a few things required. Sanjana went to meet one of her friends while Buaji sat in the sofa scolding whoever failed to do the task she told or instructed. Everyone was so involved in their tasks that they failed to notice the missing couple.

Gauri makes Gayatri and Buaji taste the rasgule she made. While Gayatri praises her and gives compliment buaji just says

Buaji: Ache hain lekin itne ache bhi nahin ke tareef ke phool samaye'kabhi mere haath ke bane rasgule khaaye hote toh pata chalta kitne meethe hote hain'agli baar mujhse seekh lena

Gayatri got fed up of buaji's interference in everything and wanted to put her out of all this. As if god heard her secret prayer, her mobile started ringing. It was her friend Jasmeet calling her for day long bhajan and keertans at her place. Gayatri thanked her and thought of a brilliant idea. She asked Jasmeet if she could send Buaji to her place so that they can peacefully carry on with the activities. Jasmeet happily agreed. Now all she had to do was a little bit of drama so that buaji agrees. She fakes a sad expression and winks at Gauri who doesn't understand but still asks

Gauri: Maa kya hua? Kiska phone tha aap itni udaas kyun hai???

Gayatri: Beta woh Jasmeet ka phone tha'unke ghar ek pooja hai..tumhe toh pata hai kitna ache tareeke se hote hain wahaan bhajan aur keertan'mein toh kab se intezaar kar rahi thi par ab kya karein hume itni saari tayariyaan jo karni hai'

Gauri: Lekin maa..

Before Gauri could spoil the moment Gayatri cut her.

Gayatri: Beta woh chahthi hai ki humare ghar se koi pooja mein baite lekin hum sab toh busy hai'ab kya karein???

She looks at buaji who was keenly listening to their conversation.

Gayatri: Kitne bhagya wale honge pooja mein jaane wale lekin kya karein ab?????

Buaji: Itna kya khaas hai iss pooja mein????

Gayatri: (shouting) Aap pooch rahi hai kya khaaaaas hai???? Aap aise kaise pooch sakti hain?? Gauri beta tumne dekha na pichli baar kaise ek aurat ko swayam bhagwan ke darshan ke liye..

Gauri didn't understand a bit but upon a wink from Gayatri she silently nodded.

Buaji: Achaaaa'

Gayatri: Haan aur iss baar toh bohut mahaan gyaani aur sanyaasi bhi aane wale hain'

Buaji: Hmm

Gayatri: Buaji kya hua?? Aap kahin wahaan jaane ke liye toh soch nahin rahe hona???

Buaji: Woh..

Gayatri: Agar aap yahaan nahin rahenge toh hum kaam kaise kar sakenge..aap aise kaise jaa sakti hain'aap ke bina toh ek bhi kaam nahin hota'.aap ko rasgule bhi toh baana ne hai sabke liye'aap ke jaise toh hum bana hi nahin sakte na'.

Buaji starts thinking. Hardly any of them are paying attention to her. Every one of them is busy doing something then why sit here all idle and before Gayatri gives her some heavy task to do why not escape from there.

Buaji: Gayatri woh mein soch rahi hoon kyun na mein pooja ke liye chali jaoun'

Gayatri: Par..

Buaji: Yahaan tu hain na. Mujhe vishwaas hai tu sambhal legi'rasgule toh ban gaye na'iss baar ussi se kaam chala lenge'

Gayatri: Agar aap jaana chahthi hain toh bala mein koun hoti hoon rokne waali'aap tayar ho jaaye mein driver ko bulati hoon'

Buaji goes to her room while Gayatri gets happy. By now, Gauri figured out what's going on there and then she praises Gayatri's acting skills.

Buaji gets ready and come down. Gayatri instructs the driver to take her to Jasmeet's place and also the thing to do later.

Prem slowly opens his eyes turning towards Heer. He sees her sleeping with a cute smile on her face. He places a sweet kiss on her forehead and says "Good morning"

Heer lazily opens her eyes and the next moment she gets lost in the chocolaty pair of eyes staring at her. After what seemed seconds she broke the gaze and wished him Happy birthday again kissing his cheek.

Prem: Isse kaam nahin chalega.. I want more.

Heer: No..

She turns away her head and sees the clock there. It struck 8:00 just then. She pushes him and gets up. Before she can get away, he pulls her and rolls so that he was lying on the top of her.

Heer: Premmm time dekho..hum late ho gaye hain'chalo'

Prem: Nahin'pehla mera kiss'

Heer: Tum pagal ho gaye ho..

Prem: Haan tumhare wajah se..ab kush..

Heer: Premmm

Prem: Heerrrrr

Heer: Acha teek hai..lekin pehle mere haath toh chodo'

She pulls him closer and slowly rolls on the top of him. She places a kiss on his forehead and cheeks and moves closer to his lips. He smiles. She smiles wickedly and pushing him away runs away from there.

Prem hits his hand on the bed and sighs. He goes to get ready making plans to get her in his way after all there's a whole day to go and since it's his day he wants it to make even more special. Prem goes to take bath while Heer sneak in to take her things to get ready. She goes to the guest room. Finding it empty she gets ready and goes down.

Heer comes down and finds everyone running around. She gets confused seeing the house partially decorated and wonders what's going on. She then recalls that its Prem's birthday so may be they are planning for a party. She joins Gayatri and Gauri and asks them if she can help them. Gayatri tells her to do few tasks.

Prem comes out wrapped in a towel. He walks over to his bed drying his hair and that's when he notices a new pair of clothes along with a small note.

Note: I had a tough time selecting them for you'.hope you look as handsome as I imagined you'

Prem just shakes his head laughing. He runs his hand over the clothes and smiles. (Ok now you've to imagine what suits him the best)

Prem comes down hoping for his surprise and wishes. He feels happy seeing the arrangements going on but on the other hand wonders isn't it a bit too much for his birthday that too now..

Prem winks at Heer who's staring at him as if she hasn't seen him in a while. His wink made her come back to senses and carry on with her work. Smiling he goes to take aashirwaad from Lalit, Gayatri, Pratham and Gauri.

He gets confused why they aren't wishing him even now. He thinks may be they'll do it a grand way in the party. He casually says "Kya baat hai?? Itni saari tayariyaan"

Lalit: Kyun nahin'aakir Lalit Juneja ke pota poti hain'mujhe toh yeh sab bohut chota lag raha hai'

Gayatri: Ab bas haan..jaiye kaam dekhiye'Pundit ji ne kaha hai aaj ka din bachon ka naamkaran ke liye acha hoga toh humne socha der kis baat ki..saath mein choti si pooja bhi rakhdi hum sab ki khushi ke liye'

Prem's felt sad but still he managed to be happy. His family didn't remember his b'thday, their Prem's b'thday. Heer was able to sense his sadness. She just blinked her eyes assuring him not to worry. He nodded his head in response assuring her that he's fine. Heer got back to her work while Prem sat beside Pratham and started playing with the kids.

Preet and Kunal returned with a dozen shopping bags, struggling to hold them all together. Dropping the bags in a corner they fell on the sofa shouting for water. A servant brought water for them.

Prem: Kya hua tum dono ko?

Preet: OMG aap pooch rahe hain kya hua PB'.aapko pata hai maa ne ek chota sa list diya aur kaha..hum maan gaye..phir jab hum wahaan pounche toh call pe call karke uss list ko badati gayi..

Kunal: Kuch cheezon ke liye toh hum doond doond ke pagal hogaye..

Prem: Thank god mein nahin phasa iss chakar mein'

Gayatri: Itna saara kaam pada hai aur tum log shaanti se yahaan bait ke baatein kar rahe ho'chalo

Preet: Maa abhi toh hum aaye hain thoda toh aaram karne do'

Gayatri: Teek hai tum log baito..Prem tu jaa wahaan pe workers hain teek se phool lagwa de'

Preet was getting bored so he switched on the music player. After scanning through many songs he finally selects on and raises the volume. He slowly closes his eyes as the music starts.

Prem instructs the workers, then gets himself a chair and settles down. He notices Heer sitting along with Gauri. Both of them were laughing over something while engrossed in making the maalas for the pooja. Gauri's binding the flowers while Heer's handing her the right flowers.

Prem's gaze slowly shifted towards Heers'. He completely forgot about his work and started admiring her.

Surili akhiyon wale, suna hai teri akhiyon se

Behti hai neendein aurr neendon mein sapne

Prem felt as if his heart was singing out while Preet could imagine himself drowning into Meher's eyes.

Kabhi to kinaro pe, utar mere sapno se

Aaja zameen pe aurr mil ja kahin pe

Heer's hair was falling on her face disturbing her constantly. She lifted her head to put it in a bun and that's when she felt him staring at her. She saw him signaling a no when she was put her hair in a bun. Smiling she lets her hair down only to see a wide smile in response.

Even though he managed not to show but still it's a fact he couldn't let himself disagree upon it. He missed Meher'yes he missed Meher everyday every second'..It was his fault'.He shouldn't have let her go away. If he wasn't able to meet her then at least he should have called her but he didn't'.Now all he could do is sit and cry'...

Prem and Heer are constantly stealing glances of each other while the other wasn't noticing. Prem knew that even Heer's going through the same feelings. He signaled her to come up but she disagreed but after constant refusal Prem got fed up and walked away.

Surili akhiyon wale, suna hai teri akhiyon se

Heer let out a sigh seeing Prem sulking and walking towards his room. She got up and followed him. She walked into the room but she didn't find anyone there. Confused she turned to walk away and that's when she felt him hug her from back closing the door.

Prem: Ab kahaan jaogi???

Heer: Hmmm..

Prem: When you know you can't get away from me..Why do you even try??

Heer: Acha..

Prem: Haan

and before she could say anything he turned her to face him and closed the gap between them pressing his lips on hers. They were lost in their own world till they heard Gayatri calling out for Heer.

Heer pushes him and runs away. Prem runs a hand through his hair letting out a defeated sigh before going to find her again'..

Preet is going crazy thinking about Meher time and again. He didn't know why but somehow today he felt even more for her. From morning he's imagining her everywhere. There's a weird feeling in his heart today.

Prem came down. His eyes started scanning the whole house searching for a glimpse of her but she was no where around..

Mil ja kahin, tu bhi akhiyon se kabhi meri akhiyon ki sunn

He made a lot of plans earlier to make his day special with Heer. He was trying to tell her since morning but failed. Disappointed he goes out and sits on the swing. He was so lost in his thoughts that he fails to notice someone settling down beside him. Noticing his frown she kisses him on cheek causing him to turn instantly and drown in her eyes full of love'

The stars are shining right up in the sky, painting words or designs

Preet gets up from the sofa unable to catch sleep. He opens his door to find Meher inside. He walks to her while she was flashing a cute smile which he loved. He isn't even blinking his eyes afraid he would lose her. He felt her circling him singing out the lines and just when he was about to touch her, she disappeared.

Prem turns around frowning again.

Heer: Premmm

Prem: Mujhse baat mat karo'

He's busy doing something in his mobile while Heer just stares at him dreamily resting her hand on her cheek. From the corner of his eyes he noticed her staring at him but still he pretended to be angry.

Aa chal kahin, samey se pareh, samey se pareh

Chal de kahin, tu bhi akhiyon se kabhi meri akhiyon ki sunn

He gets up from the swing staring at her and seeing her for a moment turns and walks towards his car. He sits in the car opening out the passenger door for her. She thinks for a while and then shaking her head gets in.

Surili akhiyon wale, suna hai teri akhiyon se

Preet falls on the bed holding his head in his hands. Why did he not tell her when she was with him????? He felt so stupid for wasting all the moments when he was with her but failed to tell her.

Prem was driving the car and in between stealing the glances of her while she was trying hard to suppress her giggles.

Ok now that was quite a long update so i expect the same from you...long comments..
