Recap:

Sid accidentally fell from the stairs..Prem donated his blood and Heer in a tensed state refers Sid as humara beta which makes Prem confused..who then shares his thoughts with Armaan, his childhood friend n Sid's doctor....

CHAPTER-7

Prem was getting ready for his engagement party. His mind was surrounded by a chain of thoughts since yesterday night. In the morning, he dropped Heer and Sid at their place and went to attend a meeting. He wasn't able to concentrate on anything so he cancelled all his meetings and went to a beach to spend some time in solitude.

After spending hours in deep silence, he was finally interrupted by his mother who was going berserk due to the engagement party in few hours but no sign of the boy himself'He asked them to leave and assured them that he'd be right on time and'' here he was getting ready.

Finally, he was done and that's when he got a call. It was from Armaan.

Armaan: Hello Prem'

Prem: Haan armaan

Armaan: Mujhe tumse bohut jaroori baat kehni hai..

Prem: Kya hua?? Sid is fine na..subhe usse discharge milgaya na..

Armaan: Haan Sid teek hai..baat woh nahin hai'woh actually'

Prem: Armaan you're scaring me..jaldi batao na'

Armaan: Premm woh actually Heer is rightttt

Prem: Kya???

Armaan: Mein ne tumhe bataye bina..tumhari aur Sid ka DNA test kiya hai'result positive aaya hai..Sid tumhara hi beta hai'.

Prem: Sid mera beta??? Lekin yeh kaise ho sakta hai??? oh god!!!!!

Armaan: Prem calm down'tumhe Heer se baat karna hoga'

Prem: Armaan tumhe kya lagta hai Heer mujhe kuch batayegi'agar usse kuch batana hota toh itne saalon tak mujhse itni badi baat chupaya nahin hota'

He cut the call and his mobile dropped out of his hands.

Prem never expected Heer would hide such a big truth from him'He couldn't control his emotions. He felt the whole world shattering. He broke the mirror in front of him with his hand. Blood was oozing out of his hand but he was least bothered'.

All he could think was Sid, his son and Heer hid that fact from him'He was brought back to senses when his cell rang. It was his mom..

Gayatri: Premmm kaahaan hai tu'abhi tak nahin aaya..sab tera intezaar kar rahe hain..

Prem: Ma mein aaraha hoon..

That's it he cut the call'

He looked at his bleeding hand and then took out the first aid box and dressed it. He reached Sanjana's place. As soon as he reached there, in spite that all eyes were focused on him, his eyes were searching for only one..

Gayatri ran to Prem as soon as he came and dragged him to the centre.

Sanjana: Thank god Prem tum aagaye'

He wasn't listening to any of them'.His eyes kept on searching' He felt a tug on his kurta and bend down his head only to see'his son'yes his son..it was his son'sid..

He couldn't control himself. He fell down to reach his height and hugged him tight. Sid was surprised initially but he hugged him feeling happy..Heer was busy in her work so she failed to notice this.

Prem: Sid beta ab tum kaise ho?

Sid: Mein bilkul teek hoon'bas sir pe yeh patti lagana hoga.. He said frowning.

Prem couldn't help but smile seeing his expressions. He placed a kiss on his cheek.

Sid too kissed him on cheek and ran away.. Prem was surprised but felt so elated'Gayatri called Prem for exchanging the rings. That's when he saw heer bringing the tray containing the rings. He couldn't take his eyes off her. Heer could sense his angry gaze on her but couldn't react as she was surrounded by a large crowd.

Prem was asked to extend his right hand by gayatri and that's when everyone noticed his bandaged right hand. Gayatri was shocked to see that.

Gayatri: Prem..yeh kaise'

Prem: Maa woh chotta sa accident hai..i'm fine..

Gayatri: Par prem..

Prem: Maa I'm fine..

Then someone said "ab yeh rings kaise badlenge.." everyone's face fell..

Gayatri: Koi baat nahin'left hand wali finger ko pehnado

They exchanged rings and then were blessed by the guests. Music was playing and couples were on the dance floor. Prem and Sanjana couldn't due to Prem's hurt hand.

Heer was standing far off in a corner talking to a few people. She decided to leave as it was time for Sid to rest. She was searching for Sid when she felt someone pull her into darkness in a corner. She was about to scream but when she felt someone's hand on her mouth and hand on her waist, she knew who it was but was shocked.

Heer: Prem tum..

Prem: Haan mein..

Heer: Yeh sab kya hai Prem???

Prem: Sawal ka jawab toh tumhe dena hai Heer!!!

Heer: matlab..

Prem: Heer anjaan bane ki koshish mat karo..

Heer: Sach mein mujhe kuch samaj mein nain aaraha hai..

Prem: Heer kum se kum mere samne jhoot bolne ki koshish mat karo'

Heer: Premm..

Prem: Heer, Sid ke pass uske papa kyun nahin hai???

Heer: Prem mein ne tumse kaha na Raj humare saath nahin hai..

Heer was looking everywhere except in Prem eye's.. She was trying to go but Prem wouldn't let her go easily..

Prem: Heer mein Sid ke papa ki baat kar raha hoon'

Heer: Mein ne kaha na..

She then looked into his eyes burning with anger and she knew what he meant now..Heer feared about that since the day she came and finally the truth's out'.

Heer: Prem chodo mujhe jaana hai..Sid doond raha hoga mujhe..

Prem: Nahin Heer'mere sawaalon ka jawab liye bina aaj mein tumhe jaane nahin doonga..

Heer: Prem tum jaise soch rahe ho waisa kuch nahin hai..mujhe jaane do..

Prem: Mein kya soch raha hoon Heerrr

Heer: Let me goo

Prem: Answer this heer' sid ki har aadat mujhse itni kyun milti hai'. yahaan tak ki usse meri hi tarah green chilies se allergy'humara blood group bhi same hai'aur heer uski aankhein'.. uski aankhein mujhse itni kyun milti hai'

Heer just bowed her head down letting out tears. Prem tightened his grip on her, shaking her by shoulders

Prem: Batao Heer'tum chup kyun ho?? Jab bhi Sid mere pass hota hai toh mujhe sukoon kyun mehsoos hone lagta hai??? Jab usse chota sa bhi chot lage toh mera dil kyun gabratha hai itna??? Mein toh uska kuch nahin lagta na phir ye sab kyun heer????

He made Heer face him and silently let out the tears he was holding from long back'. Heer cupped his face and wiped out the tears and pressing her forehead against his silently nodded her head as if in answer to the question his eyes were asking her'

Heer: I'm sorry Premm'. Mein nahin chahthi thi ki mein ye baat tumse chupaon lekin halat hi kuch aise the ki mein tumhe bata nahin saki'.Sid tumhara beta hai'Huma'

Before Heer could continue anymore, she heard Gayatri's voice calling out for Prem..So she left him and ran away from there as fast as possible.

Prem just stood there unable to move a step. He was brought back to senses by Gayatri's voice.

Gayatri: Prem tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?? Chalo chalte hain'bohut der ho chuki hai'.

He just followed her. After bidding good-bye to Sanjana's family, they came back home and Prem went to his room. He got changed and stood by the window staring at the crescent shaped moon in the sky. How it truly symbolized how he was feeling right then.

Sid..his son'. He felt everything happening around him was just too good to be true' Sid was his son'His and Heer's, the only love of his life. All through out he raked his brain hard trying to imagine when did both of them get so close but he failed miserably. He couldn't recollect anything.

Now he could only think of all the moments he shared with Sid'his cute, innocent face; his naughtiness; his pranks; his actions' He did visualize himself as a child whenever he saw Sid but still he wasn't able to recognize his own blood.

He hit his hand on the wall hard and the next moment, the pure white bandage around his hand changed to blood red. He felt the physical pain was nothing compared to the mental torture he was going through.

If Heer won't answer his questions, then how would he come to know about the truth..It then struck him there's one way of getting answers to all his questions 'Neeeev n Prachiiiii'' He immediately dialed Neev's number but there was no response' Whole night he kept on trying to call Neev but in vain' Slowly he dozed off succumbing to the pain he was through.

Heer stood near the window still eyeing the moon as always. From years, she had only one companion to share all her sorrow with after the death of her parents. It was the moon. She felt at peace whenever she looked at it.

Prem finally knew that Sid was his son. How was she going to deal with him now?? She never wanted him to know the truth and now nothing was under her control. Her thoughts raced back to the past.
