Premeer ki Shaadi
Hi there...I'm back with another one-shot!...courtesy of sweta2005 đ I had a bit of writer's block, so I don't think this one will be all that great, but I gave it a shot!

Prem and Heer are sitting on the wedding throne. The entire Juneja parivaar is dancing and enjoying themselves. Prem decides he is bored, and since he can't get up and dance with everybody until someone comes to get him, he will bug his lovely wife-to-be-for-the-second-time a bit.
"Tum bahot khubsurat lag rahi ho aaj" Prem smiles at Heer.
"Achcha? To kya roz achchi nahi dikhti hoon?" Heer teases Prem.
"Lagti ho...lekin aaj thodi...zyaada pyaari lag rahi ho" Prem smiles. He fake yawns and stretches and puts his arm around Heer nonchalantly. Heer tries to shrug off his arm, but all of a sudden she finds that it's as heavy as rock, and it won't budge.
"Prem...Haath hataoo, koi dekh lega"
"Dekhne do...patni ho meri..." He smiles
"Patni hai nahin, hone waali hai. Aap meri mama ko kyun pareshan kar rahe ho hotel ke owner ji?" Chahat shows up out of nowhere, and grabs a hold of Prem's arm and tries to lift it off of Heer.
"Hotel ke owner ji? Tumhara Papa hoon mein...izzat se baat karon" Prem mock-scolds Chahat and takes his arm off of Heer.
"Izzat se hi to baat kar rahi hoon...maine Hotel ke owner JI kahaan, ji to bola na? Aur aap abhi mere Papa nahin ho...aap ki meri mama se shaadi ho jaye, uske baad mein aap ko papa bulaaungi" Chahat says with a huge toothy smile on her face (love that smile ^_^)
"Chahatt!!! Iddhar aao beta" Gulraj di yells.
"Mein jaa rahi hoon, meri mama ko sataana mat okay?" Chahat gives both Prem and Heer a kiss on the cheek and scampers off.
"Kitni cute hai na?" Prem asks with pride
"Hamari beti jo hai..." Heer answers shyly.
"Heer, tumne bahot achchi tarha se paala hai hamaari Chahat ko. Dukh to sirf is baat ka hai ke jab ye paida hui tab mein tumhare saath nahin tha, jab tumhe pataa chala ke tum pregnant ho, mein tumhare saath nahi tha." Prem says sadly.
"Prem, maine bhi tumhe tab bahot miss kiya tha, lekin ek baat ki tasalli hai mere paas." Heer says slyly.
"Kya?"
"Ke tum mujhse bahot pyaar karte ho. Chahat jab paida hui tab to tum mere saath nahi the, lekin jab hamara Junior Prem aayega, tab to tum mere saath hoge na?"
"Achcha. Junior Prem? Heer, tum kitni besharam ho...shaadi ab tak hui nahin hai aur tum Junior Prem ki baat kar rahi ho?" Prem mocks
"PREM!"
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Bachos and Buddhos, hum to bahot naach gaa chukke lekin ab tak dulha aur dulhan nahin naache hai, aur gaaye bhi nahin. Ab unhe bhi hamare liye gaana aur naachna padega, hai na?" Preet asks the guests.
"Haa Haa, unhe karna padega, warna shaadi to ho hi nahin sakti." Geet says
"Nahin, Preet, ye kya...nahi..mein nahi gaunga" Prem whines
"Nahin nahin, ye mera faisla hai, tum dono ko gaana to gaana hi padega" Lalit orders.
Preet and Meher go and grab Prem and Heer and bring them to the middle of the room.
"Please..mama...gaon na aur papa aap bhi" Chahat pleads
"Achcha, ab mein Papa ban gaya?" Prem teases Chahat
"Please??" Chahat asks again
"Theek hai, hamaari beti hum se kuch maang rahi hai, hum use kaise inkaar kar sakte hai Heer?"
The music starts, lights dim, and a spotlight lands on Prem and Heer, who are hugging. They start to waltz.
Prem:
Tumhi dekho na, yeh kya ho gaya
Tumhara hoon main aur tum meri
Heer:
Main hairaan hoon, tumhe kya kahoon
Ke din mein huwi kaisi chandni
They are staring into each other's eyes, and Prem spins her out and back to him.
Prem:
Jaagi jaagi si hai, phir bhi khwaabon mein hai, khoyi khoyi zindagi
Heer:
Tumhi dekho na, yeh kya ho gaya
Prem:
Tumhara hoon main aur tum meri
Behke behke se mann, mehke mehke se tan
Ujhli ujhli fizaaon mein hai
Prem cups Heer's cheek in his hand.
Heer:
Aaj hum hai jahaan, kitni rangeeliyan
Chalki chalki nigaahon mein hai
Heer tilts her head so Prem's hand is trapped in between her shoulder and cheek.
Prem:
Neeli neeli ghataaon se hai cha rahi
Halki halki, roshni
Heer:
Tumhi dekho na, yeh kya ho gaya'..
Prem:
Tumhara hoon main aur tum meri
Heer:
Main hairaan hoon, tumhe kya kahoon
Ke din mein huwi kaisi chandni
Heer covers the hand that's on her cheek with her own, and has tears welling up in her eyes.
Heer:
Main toh anjaan thi, yun bhi hoga kabhi
Pyaar barsega yun toot ke
Prem takes his other hand and wipes away the one lone tear ahat fell out of his love's eyes.
Prem:
Sach yeh ikraar hai, sach yehi pyaar hai
Baaki bandhan hai sab jhoot ke
Heer:
Meri saanson mein hai gul rahi pyaar ki, dheemi dheemi ragini
Prem:
Tumhi dekho na, yeh kya ho gaya
Tumhara hoon main aur tum meri
Heer:
Main hairaan hoon, tumhe kya kahoon
Ke din mein huwi kaisi chandni
Prem:
Jaagi jaagi si hai, phir bhi khwaabon mein hai,
khoyi khoyi zindagi
Tumhi dekho na yeh kya ho gaya
Tumhara hoon main aur tum meri
Heer:
Yeh din mein hui kaisi chaandani
Prem pulls Heer in for a loving hug, one that Heer returns whole-heartedly.
Everyone breaks out in applause.
"Lo, ye dono to rone lag gaye. Arre bhai shaadi ka din hai, aaj to in aasuon ko door rakho" Kul di says.
"Chalo, shaadi ka mahoorat ho gaya hai. Chalo mandap mein chalte hai." Lalit says.
Prem and Heer walk over into the mandap and take their seats. They are staring into each other's eyes as the pundit says the prayers.
"Kanya ki maa dulhe aur dulhan ka gat-bandhan karne ko aage aaye" the pundit says (Sorry, I don't know the rituals too well ^~^)
"Ji, hamaari mummyji to bahot saalon pehle hame chod ke chali gayi" Meher says.
"To kya hua agar nani nahi hai to, mein hoon na, mein gat-bandhan kar dungi" Chahat pipes up. "Mein kar sakti hoon na?" She looks up at Meher and Lalit.
"Haa beta, zaroor." Lalit encourages her.
Chahat goes and does the gat-bandhan. "Maine bahot kas ke knot bandhi hai, ab aap dono kabhi judaa nahi honge." Chahat smiles up at her parents. Prem gives her a kiss on her cheek.
The pundit says some more prayers and then they get up to do their pheras. After they are done that, Prem puts Heer's mangalsutra around her neck and is bout to fill her maang with sindoor, and Ashlesha comes in with a little boy about Chahat's age.
The boy yells "RUK JAAO"
Everyone notices Ashlesha and the boy who just came in. All the colour drains from Prem's face and Heer's face is full of shock and hurt, from the memories of her husband in bed with her cousin, Ashlesha.
"Prem? Tum Heer se phir se shaadi kar rahe ho? Lekin wo to tumhe chod ke chali gayi thi na?" Ashlesha asks
"Tum yahaa kya kar rahi ho Ashlesha?" Heer asks in anger. Prem is too embarassed to even look up from the ground. Seeing Ashlesha brings back memories of what he did to his wife, and he can't look up at her anymore.
"Mein yahaan apne bete ke pitaa ko lene aayi hoon." She says with conviction. Prem's head shoots up in shock. 'Mera bachcha? Ashlesha ke saath?' he thinks.
"Ye kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum?" Heer shouts.
"Kyun, tumne to hame dekh liyaa tha na us din. Khair, aap sab log yehi soch rahe honge na ke mein aaj, saath saal baad kyun aayi hoon? Jab mujhe pataa chala ke mein maa banne waali hoon, tab maine Prem ko dhoond ne ki bahot koshish ki, lekin tum to Canada chale gaye the na Prem? Mujhe chod ke? Phir mujhe kal pataa chala ke tum wapas aa gaye ho, aur kisi ke saath shaadi kar rahe ho, to mein tumhe lene aa gayi bas." Ashlesha says.
Prem looks like he is about to cry. Heer takes a look at Prem, and she decides she can't stand to see her love like this.
"Prem..." Heer says lovingly. He refuses to look at her. She cups his cheek and forces him to look at her. She wipes away his tears.
"Prem, meri maang nahi bharoge?" She asks softly. "Shaadi poori karo Prem."
"Heer...." Prem trails off.
"Prem, tumne zindagi mein ek galti ki thi, uski bahot sazaa de chuki mein tumhe. Aur maine tumhe us raat ke liye maaf kar diya hai na? To phir Ashlesha ka is tarha se aana, aur is bachche ke yahaa hone ya na hone se mujhe koi farak nahin parta Prem. Kyunke maine to tumhe pehle hi maaf kar diya tha na?" She spoke so softly, with tears trailing down her face, that no one but Prem could hear her.
Prem fills her maang with sindoor, and the wedding is complete. He wipes away Heer's tears, and realizes that he needs to speak up for himself and his wife.
"Chali jaao yahaan se Ashlesha. Mein tumhari shakal tak nahi dekhna chahta. Door hojao mere parivaar se, aur meri zindagi se." he fumes.
"Chali jaaon Prem? Kaise chali jaaon? Tumne meri poori zindagi kharab kar di Prem. Kaise chali jaaon? Tumne mujhe bin biyaahi maa bana diya, ab tumhe meri aur hamare bete ki zimmedaari leni hi hogi."
"Maine tumhari zindagi kharab ki? Maine? Kharab to tumne meri zindagi ko kiya tha. Mujhse meri Heer ko door kar diya. Agar tumhe yaad nahin hai to mein tumhe yaad dila doon ke us raat ko tum poore hosh me thi aur meine to pi rakhi thi. Mein to kuch kar hi nahi sakta tha. Tum apne poore hosh mein thi agar tumhare saath maine zabarzasti ki hoti to tum wahaan se bhag jaati na. Ye sab hone ke baad mere saath nahi rehti us kamre mein."
"Itna bada jhuth Prem? Tumhi ne to us raat mujhe us kamre me bulaaya tha, aur kahaa tha ke tum Heer se pyaar nahin karte, aur uska kisi aur ke saath rishta hai to tum bhi us bandhan mein bandh kar nahin rehna chahte? Tumhi ne to kahaa tha ke Preet ne mujhe chod diya aur Heer ne tumhe chod diya. Jin ke liye hum dono ne ek doosre ko thukraaya tha unho ne hum dono ko itni takleef di, hum dono ke beech mein bahot understanding thi. Tumhi ne to kahaa tha ke tum Heer ko talaak de doge aur phir hum dono shaadi karlenge. To Heer bhi khush aur hum dono bhi aage badpayenge hamaari zindagi mein. Aur phir tumne mujhe drink di...aur...." Ashlesha accuses
"Mujhe kuch yaad nahin aa raha...mujhe kuch yaad nahi...ye sab nahi hua tha Heer, sach...mein aisa kuch keh hi nahi sakta Heer...maana ke mein tumse naaraaz tha, lekin..." Prem stutters out.
"Prem...mein jaanti hoon ke tum aisa kuch nahin kaho ge. Aur mein ye sab jaan na bhi nahin chahti. Shaant hojao Prem. Aur tum Ashlesha...tum keh rahi ho na ke ye Prem ka beta hai...jao mein nahin maanti. Tumhari koi bhi baat par mujhe bharosa nahin aur mein tumhaare kuch bhi kehne par apna ye rishta nahin todne waali." Heer says
"Ye Prem ka beta hai aur uske bache ki ma hone ke haq se mein isi ghar me Prem ke saath rahungi." Ashlesha says
"Achcha? To theek hai. Is bachche ka DNA test kara kar lao, phir hum baat karenge. Lekin abhi, Prem ki asli beti ki Ma hone ke haq se, aur uski patni hone ke haq se, mein tumhe uske ghar se bahar nikaal ti hoon. Niklo mere ghar se!" Heer screams
"SECURITY!!" Preet shouts. "In dono ko ghar se bahaar nikaal do, aur agar ye yahaan aas paas bhi nazar aaye na, to mujhe bulaana. Inhe andar mat ghusne dena."
Ashlesha and her 'son' are escorted out kicking and screaming.
All the guests leave and Prem and Heer retire to their room.
"Heer, mein..." Prem starts.
"Prem, maine tumhe bahot pehle hi maaf kar diya tha, aur maine kahaa na, ke us bachche ke hone ya na hone se mujhe koi farak nahi padta."
"I'm sorry." Prem says softly.
"Hamaari Chahat ne hame ek kiyaa hai, ab hum kaise alag ho sakte hai huh? Prem mujhse waada karo ke ab se jo koi bhi museebat aayegi, hum dono saath milkar uska saamna karenge. Alag alag nahin."
"Kiya" Prem pulls Heer in for a meaningful hug.
Five minutes later, Heer pulls away with a smile. "Prem, tumhi keh rahe the na ke tumhe afsos hai ke jab Chahat paida hui tab tum hamaare saath nahi the?"
"Haan"
"Aur maine kya kaha tha?" Heer asks
"Ke jab Junior Prem aayega tab hum dono saath honge, aur tum mujhe bahot sataaogi." Prem smiles.
"Mujhe tumhe sataane ka bahot man kar raha hai. Jaldi se mujhe Junior Prem dedo, to mein tumhe sataa sakoon." Heer teases
"Achcha, aisi baat hai, to to phir hame kuch karna padega....." And Heer and Prem are engulfed in passion.
A year later, a Junior Prem is born, but that's not what they name him, they name him Akil...meaning complete. Now their family is complete, with Prem, Heer, Chahat, and now Akil.
