Yaar to some extent i don't think Heer was also wrong.She had her stand.She too was ready to sacrifice her life prem for her friend so even her sacrifice was not small.Heer suffered so much in the past and to get out of your shell and mental block sometimes only friends can help and thats what geet did.As a good friend she helped heer to come out of the block and understand his love , to make her believe that prem loves her as heer who loved prem more than herself felt she was ditched by prem by spending one night .So once trust is lost its too difficult to come back...

So i don't think heer faultered.she was shown stubborn from the begining and she does evrything with conviction. So , i will not criticise heer too.
