PART 31

Harshad: well u need ot change I give u a chance we should meet at the party and sign the deal think about it I don't want riddhima to get hurt

Saying this he left

As he faced his back to her the tears which she was trying to control welled up from her eyes she was hurt badly hurt he wants riddhimas happiness and what about her ? why god is torturing her like this her life was on but this turn has put everything on stake

Harshad came out of the officce with an annoying face and irritated mood
But all his irritation vanished in a sight

He saw chah sitting on the bench crying silently and her eyes were all red and swollen

He didn't wanted to go and console her because he is never up with the kids and specially this one she is hell irritating but something inside her didn't stopped him and his foot took him towards him might be his confusion or his eagerness to know her , her soft touch
He didn't know what it it is ?
His feet took him towards her and he went and sat beside her

Chah looked at him and made a distance between them by slipping at the other end of the bench but harshad too fixed his position by slipping near her but this time he didnt looked at her
Harshad : so why the hell on earth u crying ?
But chah remained quiet
Harshad : don't tell me u r crying because of me ?
Chah just sobbed hard this time
Harshad : ok babes m sorry I know I was harsh but u don't need to cry for somone like me who c ant even catch butterflies properly
This time chah looked at him
Chah : why u always run away from me ? don't u like me ? u always leave me alone ?
Harshad : me when on earth did I ran away ? and really I don't like kids but still now m sitting with a cry baby
Chah : m not a cly baby
Harshad : that's cry not cly
Harshad went ahead and picked her in his arms cuddling her and rubbing her cheek full of tears with his hand
He himself didn't know his growing concern towards her and why he is sitting with her but it feels good
Harshad : don't u thnk u talk too much at ur age
Chah : I can talk more if u l know me then u l understand
Harshad : oh yeah so promise u wont cry because of me ek kaan se ghusane ka ek se nikalne ka
Chah: promise anything for u papa

And that's when it clicked to him again she calls him papa he wasn't wrong to hear

Harshad : hey what did u call me ?
Chah : papa
Harshad : why the hell on earth u calling me papa
Chah : why do u always repeat this phrase
Harshad : answer me
Chah : what ?
Harshad : why do u call me papa ?
Chah was going to say somethin when she got a call from back

Heer : chahat !chahat !
Heer was coming outside shouting her daughters name almost yelling as she was concerned

Chah got up and ran towards her mom as she knows she wont be happy seeing her with him

Chah : bye
Harshad : hello listen !

But chahat was gone she was running with her small feets and yelling "mumma chahs coming "and harshad stared blankly , she didn't answered him
Harshad saw and then he got the view there she was standing ms . arrogant sufferer in silence type
Ms . heer mann

And then he saw the little one clinging to ms . manns leg
And the it clicked to him she calls preet uncle and chah moves into the office with all authority so she is ms . manns daughter

Oh god so both the mother and dotty has made his life hell
He should have undertsand earlier the little kid has the same arrogance as her mother and is samee like her mother –creating problems in his life

Oh my god the two monsters together
Harshad laughed at himself like insane

Heer : chah where were u ?
Chah : nope nowhere I was just sitting
Heer: I am so sorry kid u were crying and I left u
Chah : no problem mommy

Heer was sensing something different in her daughters behavious she wasn't like this she never u se to forget anything and cry on the split milk for hours and now she is beahaving so normal
She saw ahead and there it is
He was standing there looking towards them

For a moment heer was shocked and terrified
Did chah told him everything

And the next moment she held on hers dottys arm
Heer: chah were u with him ?
Chah : mommy
Heer: tell me the truth
Chah : yes
Heer: damn it he made u cry and u went to him don't u have a self respect

And chah was shocked her mom never speaked to her in high tone and what she is talking about selff rs err all bouncing over her head , he is her dad she knows

Heer: listen kid u gonna stay away from him
Chah : momma papa I sback after so long ask him to be with us na
Heer: no he is not ur papa u got that ur dad was mr.prem juneja and he cant be prem he is just harshad chopra u understand that
Chah : mommy he is papa
Heer: no just listen u gonn stay away from him u understand what ur mum says do u ?
Chah again had tears in her eyes she just nodded

Heer: now go inside sit in my cabin I l take u afterwards

Heer made chah go in and started walking towards her car as she forgot her important file in it she went ahead to take it when she suddenly got a call from back

Harshad : so the little moster is urs daughter that's why u gave me a lecture
Heer: m not interested to talk to u jus go on ur way and my kid is an angel ok so talk properly for her don't irritate me I have already warned her to be away from u , u shd also maintain ur distance from her if u don't find her good then just ignore
And lecture well I think u mad me hear all that shit didn't u ?

Harshad : I must have known this earlier both mommy and kid got the same stubborness problem
Heer: whats ur problem ?
Harshad : u fascinate me to provoke u ?
Heer: darn it
Harshad : so u know what ur kid called me , she called me papa

Heer was again shocked for a moment a fresh wave of emotions went through her she knows how much her daughters heart ache for her father but …
Heer gained control of her and stopped her tears from falling so that she won't be weak

Heer : she is kid she doesn't knows what she speaks I l talk to her about this
Harshad : so u r married right ?

Heer didn't replied because she doesn't knows what to say yes she was married to prem but she cant prove it ppl don't understand her

Harshad : so why do u use miss against ur name u should have used misses r u divorcee or widow ?

HeeR: plz don't indulge my personal life into this plz

Harshad: or u r single mother like woman use to be these days but if u r single mother then I must say u r bold indians don't encourage this kinda things

Heer: will u mind ur business I heard enough for the day

Harshad : ok ok hatever u r so one thing is clear the kid don't knows about her dad , u must tell her so that she doesn't goes on calling everyone as dad

Heer: she knows what she needs to and keep ur suggestions to urself , u know what u r the main causxe of each problems and u make fun of everything u don't understand pplz life and emotions , u just think of ur enjoyment , u r so insensitive

Harshad : wohh wooh plz not again ms. Super serious

Heer : I don't know why I am talking to u

Saying this heer left

Harshad to himself : she is quite interesting , eager to know u more ms .mann …
