🤣 ....oh, how I wish I lived in India. 😔 why did I (or rather my parents) make a choice to live in the US??! ...me will also catch up on some research. I mean, like you said, there is no harm in doing a peaceful rally. For the right reasons.... 😃 ....although organizing a rally seems practically impossible. What the heck. There is no harm in trying, ey?

technically? very easy. all you have to do is stand somewhere and offer free food... i'm not kidding. 😆

you need to realiably get people to come to a spot and stand there for a while. personally think this is the toughest part of the rally -- how to get people to come and then wait there for an hour or more. (why d'you think i said offer free food... 🤣)

d'you know someone who will sponsor free chai and cookies? 😆

nope. is your constitutional right to meet at that spot. and ... er ... discuss relevant issues. 😆 authorities only ever come into the picture when the rally -- either actively or just by being -- starts ''disrupting normal economic activity''.

there was a famous case recently of some rich-kid-school in s.bombay that apparently held the entire city to hostage when the parents gathered outside the school -- presumably in all their rich-kid cars and blocked a very important road -- pedder road? -- there? and even then, people didn't go to jail.

but then again... these were rich-kid parents... 😃

How to convince people to get out?

aaaaaaa.... nd, that's the biggie! not sure that many people will come out just for free chai and cookies ... and the show, of course.

No no i am not thinking anything just asking for the sake of knowledge 😆

ok, I know this is far fetched, and does not apply to me as I live in the USA. But what if we publicize the rally on FB and other networking sites, text message friends and family. And force our close relatives to each bring at least 2 people......I Know the idea is out their but we desis have a lot of uncles, aunts, noisy neighbors, friends, friends of friends, gate keepers, maids etc. I mean people go to extremes to get their 15 minutes of fame right.....we can come up with creative slogans and you all can use it.......just an idea...but I know it is easier said and done.😆😆😆

Nadia i dont think is anything wrong to do a rally and scream your lung out outside SP office, they seem to be deaf and not hearing the viewers concern and voices..
