Its NOT a case of Heer hiding Chaahat from Prem, its a case of protecting herself, for she knows that the facade she's spend 6 years trying to create will break down in one second in front of her Prem.
EDIT: I remembered something else.....the situation reminds me of when Premeer first met. "Tumhare aankon mein itna dard kyun hai?" Its a similar thing now. Prem's always been able to see straight through Heer...her pain...her suffering. And she's afraid the same thing will happen again. This time, however, she believes she wont be able to handle it. because she's spent 6 years..a VERY long time trying to hide her pain. Hence she wants him to leave.
Divya I can understand everything u r saying here & definitely she deserves to be happy away from painful memories but there is one major problem in this whole scenario or rather Heer's thinking process, she is only & only thinking about herself & not about Chahat. That is not the Heer I know of, hiding something major just for her benefit. When she hid something from Prem in the past it was for benefit of others not herself. She herself knows this that if Chahat is there then she has to inform Prem about his progeny whether she herself likes it or not. And we all know mothers always win custody over kids if it comes to legal battle.
If Chahat is not in the scenario at all then this attitude is ok with me, I am not saying even for once she ought to run back to him or accept him back without any questions but I am only thinking about Chahat here who has the right to know about her dad & get to know him. Heer can't take that away from her.
And what u just said it implies Heer is only thinking about her own wounds, her own past, her own struggle & not Chahat.
But as I said earlier I will have to w&w what they will have to unfold about her life past 6 yrs. I am thinking maybe Chahat has some ailment or something but will not jump to conclusions. But as of now her attitude definitely looks confusing to me, it was justified if she was alone but not as Chahat's mom!
