The Sari
She came upstairs to find him in the same place she left him half an hour ago. She smiled to herself and went near the bathroom door.
Prem, how much more time?...you do need to get ready and everyone is ready. She said while she moved away from the door waiting for a reply
5 more minutes…im just changing
she went to the cupboard to get her clothes out
which sari shall I wear today? She thought
she got all her saris out and put them on the bed deciding which one to wear.
He came out of the bathroom to find his love thinking about something. He could see her eyes moving from one sari to another. He loved it when she was in confusion and he loved the pout she made. He decided to go and help her.
She felt a pair of hands slide to her waist and she looked to the right to find his head lying on her shoulder.
prem look I don't know which sari to wear you tell me she said while looking at him with the pout he loved
he looked around at the saris lying on the bed.. and made a face as if to say he don't like any of them
don't you like any? She said
nope he replied
he went over to the cupboard and pulled out a bag. She looked at him wondering what was in the bag. He came over and gave her the bag. She looked at him confused.
Go on, open it he gestured her
She opened the bag and saw a beautiful blue sari with silver beads patterned on it. She looked at him with love.
