Can love survive such long separations?

Don't know anyone taht has happened too

6 years is indeed a veryyyyy long time!😳
but yeah i did see many many ppl where either d husband or d wife stays abroad to study or to work & the other stays in his/her home country...it is quite painful but if u think bout d young people who r married & still didnt finish their studies, then i think they really shud finish their studies abroad & then get into marriage life & stuff.

yeaa its truee i noee someonee whoo knows someone whoo loved each other but the girl got married to another personn, and had a girl i think... a few years later she met the samee guy shee loved anddd she came across that he didn't get married as he still loved her and was still waiting for her...shee still loved himm to thou, she tried loving her husband likee her first lovee but it didn't work.... after a few year later she and her husband had problem going on n he divorced her... when her love came across this truee heee came bac to marry her.. and they both got marriedd...

when i heard this storry i couldn't belive it but it was truee....

Ya I think it's true cuz I seen it with my own eyes. The example of this for me is my own sister. She was dating her high school sweetheart but one day bcuz of some misunderstanding they broke up. She was all confused and she decided to start her life again and get married. So she got married and she decided that she's gonna forget her past. But it really didn't work out between her and her husband. She realized that she can't love anyone else besides her first love no matter how much she tried, and I know she tried hard! So when both of them decided that it's not working out they decided to get a divorce. And she started talking to her ex boyfriend after 3 years, who still didn't get married. After talking both realized that they still love eachother and are meant for each other and thats when they got married even though they were separated for more than 3 years. And now their together living a happy loving life. Thats why for me their an eternal pair!!=] So after seeing this I started believing in true love all over again. I truly do believe that if ur meant for each other, no matter what happens, in the end u will be together!!=]

Yup hun..these shows seem out there but trust me there all true stuff!!;) I seen much more drama in my own house then these serials

You pose a very good question...and that depends on the depth of feeling a person has for another. If you truly love the person, it never goes away...and like Jugni said yesterday, dil mein dafan reh jata hai.
In this case, Prem and Heer have loved each other with a mad and passionate desperation...I still remember Heer...the Heer who refused to cry when Prem "died" She kept the love alive...even though everyone believed that he was no more. I guess we never got a chance to see what Prem would do if he had to live without Heer..against his will. Already we have seen the devastation it has wrecked in his life.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder...so yeah, I believe that even though they have lived apart for 6 years...their love is still strong...if not more intense. More intense because they know what it is to be...alone.
