Why do they show all women as weak!!

In all Kekta shows, they show the woman as soo weak, and after sooo many put downs by their husbands/family, to the point where they have all multiple times been thrown out of the house, and yet would still "not do anything to harm the family izzat"!! Why do they have to show women of todays day and age as so weak... I know there are lots of women in India that are going thru family probs but by showing that you can be strong and not submissive hopefully those women in India can get some hope!! Not by showing the utter nonsense that Kekta Mai does!!

Actually that was one thing I really liked about Kutumb..they showed Gauri as a very strong willed..independent girl who didn't care to impress anyone..she was always more keen on doing things her way and I loved her character for that..shes wasn't your typical KEkta bahu..especially when she faked getting hurt..to get out of work..fought with Pratham(**Miss them so much) but she was one to defy Ekta's normal routine

I don't know about the other shows as I haven't seen them...but in Kis Desh. the story is different...Here Heer is gradually shown growing stronger by the day...Prem is helping her overcome herself and become strong...I think that's a very positive thing they were showing....

Now if only they show it in a more realistic manner and not show Heer becoming this powerful businesswoman overnight....
