It's a girl for Tasneem Sheikh
Tasneem Sheikh was blessed with a baby girl on May 1. The actress, who was very popular as Mohini on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and is seen as Daljeet Maan on Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil (Star Plus), is married to Sameer Nerurkar, who is in the Merchant Navy.
BEING in the Merchant Navy, Tasneem's husband hardly gets to spend time with his family as he sails for many months in the year. Even so, after knowing each other for over three years, Tasneem and Sameer got married on April 16, 2006. The two belong to different religions but that never posed a problem for the young lovers. However, just one month before her wedding, the actress fell down and broke her jaw. Luckily, the two were still able to continue with their wedding plans.
Tasneem was last seen in Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil as Daljeet Maan, a negative character. Our source tells us, "She has been on a break for about two months now. She was advised to take complete rest by the doctor hence she had to go on a break. Her character's track has been phased out since then but now that she has delivered, she will soon be back on the show."
