Thank u so much for this thread! It will be so difficult to sum up a short message for Harshad on his birthday specially because of the stature & respect he has obtained in my mind. But will surely try.

Dearest Harshad,

I consider myself simply lucky because one fine day in last May I happen to come across the promo of the jail scene & I was mesmerised by those 30 secs so much so that I decided to note the timing & name of the show & made sure I watched the episode & I was spellbound to see the intensity, obsession, depth, love & passion of this character named Prem. I was simply bowled over to see such a high calibre in acting & I had to go & watch the show right from the beginning to get hold of the story. The chemistry of Prem & Heer got me hooked so badly that after that day I haven't missed any episodes except for some when u were absent from the show from Oct-Dec last year. I went through new highs after this day because of your skilled performance & till September this feeling was intact, which according to me was the golden era of Kis Desh......!!!

This is the only show I watch & I can proudly say its because of you that I watch this show. The nuances, the gestures, the intricacies, the variation of the character Prem is superbly portrayed by you & no one could have done justice to it the way you do! You have made the character so real & dear to us that we can only think of your face as Prem! You gave this character a new meaning & dimension & my words will fall short in praising you for the superb job you do with & as Prem. You made me realise that Prem really means rising in love & not merely falling in it, you made the face of Prem an embodiment of love & passion & romance & this wonderful feeling has carved a niche of its own in my mind. I genuinely & humbly thank you for this wonderful job & the pleasure, happiness & enjoyment you bestow on us daily.

And definitely I want to see that shade of Prem I fell in love with as the perfect son, brother, businessman & lover unblemished! Being that reserve, poised, intelligent, respectful lover whose passion knows no bounds when it comes to his love of his life, Heer & this gave me a thrill so unparallel to anything I have ever watched so far! Because of you I have started believing in eternal & immortal love that transcends all boundaries! You along with Aditi Gupta have made this ethereal & surreal couple so human for us & I sincerely thank u both for this!
