Did anybody notice that this whole story of KDHMD has taken on the flavor of Ramayan? Father,Step-mother and kids where Step-mother loves step-son as her own. Love at first sight and so many comparisons of Ram to Prem where he is adored and worshipped by his brothers, and can do nothing wrong.
Ravan's (*Rishab Rampal) sister in love with hero, turned own and Ravan takes revenge by trying to marry Hero's wife, and Hero comes and saves her.
Now, Step-mother commanding the son to do something wrong against the wishes of the family and son obeys dutifully.
And again, when Sita was thrown out of the house, she went to live in the forest and found out sge was pregnant and delivered her twins - luv-Kush.
It seems to me that Heer might find out she is pregnant soon.
I am so tired of the same Ramayan flavored stories in movies and now in serial too. Come-on, scrpit-writers and directors - you can do something better than that. Empower the women to fight against their problems and rise above situations instead of meekly accepting their fate and being witches plotting each other's downfall.
Surely, women can stick to each other, be each other's support and take on more dominating roles in a good way.
Isn't it time, we show women to be powerful, smart, enterprising, brave and supportful of each other who can solve their problems and rise above? I am so tired of seeing women shown as weak, emotional who just meekly accept what is thrown at them. I used to like some parts of the character Heer especially after Prem's death and before comeback - where she tried to support the family and solve the problems, being strong and steadful. What happened to that Heer?
And come-on what is Maya going to get out of this? All she wants is Harman to get out of this house and go with her? She doesn't have to do all this stuff for that? And Why doesn't anyone think that if Veera's maariage is in trouble, they need to sit down and talk to both Nihaal and Veera about their problems and see if that can be solved. That is more practical. Instead we have the Mom blinded and can't think of solving the problem but is creating more, and the others - father, brother, sister - they are nmot bothered about her problem and trying to talk to them both and resolve it.
Truly Absurd and very disappointing!
