I know KDM has a strong resemblance to the show in terms of the characters and also this story intially was supposed to have Prem dead and Heer ending up with Preet. They changed it but I think they are still using GEM as a reference to the story. But I didn't watch GEM so don't know what happens (i only know that the lead was supposed to marry a brother and then he dies and she ends up with the younger one). So what actually happens in it? Do the lead pair divorce? Do they have a kid? what happens after the divorce? Did the lead in that show have the same love story as Prem-Heer? In GEM the daughter archana was married 2 vishwajeet (same reason 2 save archana's life like nihaal)aanchal's bro she hated vishwajeet as he was writer n not soo good looking n archana always wanted a richi rich super cool hubby n aanchal was married 2 rahul(who is arvchan's bro) so archana had an articficial insemination done cause vishwajeet looked not tah good ns he wanted her children 2 be good looking so she went ahead n had it done n sab ko kaha ke its vishwajeet's child later vishwajeet finds out abt it he gets teh reports vishwajeet beats archana black blue n archana says that vishwajeet is lying abt the artificial insemination as she wants 2 end teh marraige😡

aanchal also is with rahul n archana but she looks at reports n she barges in house 2 speak the truth but archana hides the report n everythink aanchal is saving her bro there's a tiff between rahul archana later vishawajeet files for divorce n cause of this everyone from archana side ask rahul 2 divorce aanchal 2 make vishwajeet taste his won medicine how it feels when sister's marriage is broken

aanchal fights vishwajeet n archana's dicorce case she wins as she proves the truth but again archana says how cunnigly she made false evidences n destroyed her life so rahul also proves ke aanchal is having an affair n divorces her n the child custody also goes 2 rahul cause he proves with false statements from his mother(here also teh mother role is played by gayatri) n rest house ke aanchal is an unfit mother
