I feel totally helpless today..My sis's results came yesterday - she was so expectant abt it bcos she had fared extremely well& why not bcos, she was the topper in her class But this time when it came - she had failed in 2 of her subjects. The poor thing was so shocked to even react - to think that in both of these subjects she had scored the highest for her internals. She was crying her heart out saying that she had done so well that she was sure she would never fail. Calls after calls came from college, her teachers, her friends who too were equally shocked seeing the results. She hasn't even eaten anything since then - my parents & myself have tried consoling her but all in vain. I know how she's feeling as both of us were so into our studies. I feel so helpless seeing her like this. I tried bringing her along with me to college now , not wanting to leave her alone at home, but she refused .

I don't even know what to do to make her feel better.

Awww Vrinda.....so sorry to hear that......Even I am not sure what was the best thing to do, but just assure her that you can go for reevaluation and what not....You said she was a topper...so there was no way she could be failing that too in 2 subjects...There must be some mistake somewhere....Don't panic and worry along with her, and see what best you can do to help her out of this situation...

She will be fine, someone just be with her...
