Pathetic love birds- Chapter 5
I finally reached my school, with a great lump in my chest, I walked in, heading straight in the hallway to look for my class. Room 125, History. Heer let out a great big sigh and prepared herself for boring lectures on IB expectations, and consequences, she'd heard them all before, way too many times. Ready or not...and with that Heer stepped into her classroom, zoning out completely, singing a random song in her head while pasting a fake smile on.

After like what seemed an enternity, the history teacher Ms. Pattison finally stopped her lecture about expectations and then after a slight pause, gave us three packets on Kissenger to read for homework. Heer looked at her in horror...homework already? These packets are like ten pages each...curse you kissenger! Curse you! Heer screamed in her mind. Ms. Pattison was about to assign another piece of homework, something about taking detailed notes when the bell rang, "Ah well, we'll do that tomorrow, I'll let you guys relax for today. See you all tomorrow!" Relax? Was this women for real? Give us 30 pages to read on the first fricken day...and RELAX?? Heer quickly rushed out of the classroom angry as well as determined to not die of boredom in the next class, she just HAD to survive the first day, just HAD to.

I slowly walked into the classroom, a bit self conscious but still determined. I quickly glanced around the room, looking for a familiar face, all the while I walked extremely slowly like most other newbie's and made my way to the middle bench in the classroom. The sight of an annoyed girl rolling her eyes at someone had me grinning in no time.
I laughed, "Hey Meher! So I'm stuck with you again eh?"
Meher shifted a bit looking away from the person she was talking to and grinned. "Hell yeah! Isn't it just awesome, another whole freakin year with me?"
"Oh joys," I replied back through small outbreaks of giggles and pretended to be annoyed while taking a seat next to her. I absolutely loved Meher! Yeah, she was annoying at first, but I'm glad I got to know her because now we are almost like best friends, not like, we were best friends. Not that we would never admit that to each other, oh no, never!
Meher was one of those geniuses, who was nice when you got to know her but extremely weird otherwise. She constantly needed hugs, and me being the only one that didn't have the heart to say no to her, was the one she hugged and the one that became the pillow. I always laughed at the thought of her resting her head on my shoulder, if you looked at us, you could swear that she was the more sturdy and comfier one yet I was the pillow here.
Meher nudged me, bringing me out of my thoughts with her elbow and pointed at the guy sitting behind me. I sighed and turned around; it was none other than the all famous Preet. Shockers! I sighed out loud and put on a fake smile, all the while cursing him under my breath. This kid was annoying as hell, just like Meher! And it was obvious that Meher and Preet both were love birds. I mean a person really had to be blind to not notice it and yet these two duffers never did. It was totally getting on my nerves.
"So you excited to have yet another class with Meher?" I said sarcastically, while looking at a fidgeting Meher. She jabbed my ribs with her elbow giving me the deadliest of looks and gave him a nervous laugh.
"Are you kidding me? No way! I'm dreading it already." Preet said grinning.
"Shut up!" Meher yelled out and turned around with an annoyed look on her face.
You know, this is what bugged me the most, these two dovies were waaaaayyyy to sarcastic for their own good. I counted back on all of the times I tried to get them together only to fail miserably because of a stupid sarcastic remark.
Nevertheless, me being the idiot I am, I loved them both to guts, Preet as a younger brother and Meher, as my little sister. Talk about being a freak. Although I must admit, in the beginning, I had hated Preet's guts, but gradually started to notice that he was a nice guy as impossible as it seemed. (That didn't matter obviously, there was no way I would ever tell him that I didn't hate him...it was too much fun pretending to do so.)
I giggled at that thought and Preet gave me his overly used 'okay...?' look while raising his right eyebrow questioning my sanity as always. Must say, he looked adorable when he did that, making me want to go up to him and pull his cheeks going completely girly on him. I laughed harder at that and then turned around when I saw Meher also give me the same look. I smiled. They were perfect for each other!
