So many inconsistencies, so many outlandish things...

We endured them all...

We endured Heer talking in the Queen's language out of nowhere,....we endured her out of the character behaviour...

Now that Heer toned down...it seems like you guys are after butchering Prem...

First things first...such an intelligent business man *you said it, not us* like Prem, how come he accepted whatever the trash that so called Doctor doled out to him??Ever heard of something called a 'second opinion'???

The main thing...how come Prem suddenly transformed into a crying wimp???Where is all his self confidence and all that stuff that you showed him to be having before???

You have glorified Heer's pain for 5 months...how come Prem's pain has been simplified to 2 days with so many loop holes still left unclosed....We want to know how Prem took care of Heer even in his absence....We want to know what he went through in his family's absence...We want to see what exactly he did the 2 months he was away....

I am so mad at the unfair treatment of the characters....Its you guys who were clueless about how to take the story forward and kept making Harshad swing between Prem and Gaurav...You butchered Prem all you can, just to make us believe that he was Gaurav....Then when you realized that with Gaurav you wont be getting the TRPs, you suddenly made him Prem....You could have made him have a memory loss or some such ghisa peeta stuff...but no...since you wanted an instant Prem to boost up your ratings, you made him believe that he has a silly ailment.....Now you are making him cry and cry and cry....just because a vicious doctor decided to make a joke out of him...You created this mess and you better clear it up....And BETTER redeem Prem;s character...We hate this crying and wimpy Prem...PERIOD!!!!!!..

Raksh, I couldn't have said it better myself.

I was really looking forward to Prem telling his side of the story. I wanted to experience all that he had been through over the past few months, because I knew somewhere deep down inside, that his pain was much more grave than that of Heer's. We have cried with Heer over the loss of her Prem, and when I was all geared up to cry with Prem over the adversities he faced while he was away from Heer and his family, I found myself unable to even relate to his pain - instead, I was laughing out loud at the outlandish nonsense the doctor was feeding him. I am heartbroken because though, upon serious concideration, deep down inside, I know that I can see where Prem is coming from, I am unable to fully grasp his side of the coin. The inconsistancies of Prem/Gaurav were far too numerous, and Prem's character has just been reduced to one big mess.

After dealing with Prem's death, and Heer's transformation from the coy, self-respecting girl we knew her to be, after putting up with all kinds of bloopers and loop-holes in the story line, I was looking forward to things finally coming full circle once Prem got to tell his side of the story - I was looking forward to laying all else to rest as long as I had Prem and Heer - THE Prem and Heer that we all know and love back. It was disappointing to see that this was not the case.

I don't know where to even begin with what has been done to Prem's character. He used to be self-asured, and bold in the face of adversity - as you always said, when he was shown to have given in to death in the face of a fire - he would never just back down and accept defeat like that. It just wasn't in him...and now, I see a Prem who is so very different from the one we know and love. I can understand Prem's sentiments because as it has always been about his family with Prem, so it is now too - he doesn't wish to hurt them again, but the old Prem would have found a way to beat this so called heart defect he has. He would have gotten more information, gotten a second opinion, tried to find even an ounce of hope that he could fight all odds and he would have run with it - like during the MM days, when he was relentless when it came to getting to the bottom of the matter.

Now we see a Prem that has just given into what his 'fate' has handed him? If this was the way Prem was, we would have seen him give in to his fate when Ullu wanted him married to Ash...we would have seen him give into fate and live aloof from his family when Ullu kicked him out...we would have seen him give up hope when they told him Heer had drowned in some lake/river. This is NOT the Prem we know and love. He's battled death once, who's to say he can't - or shouldn't be doing it again?

Creatives, PLEASE, Redeem Prem. I don't know, at this point, how you are going to do it, but you need to do it - whatever it takes. Good Luck? You're going to need it.

Raksha thank u from the bottom of my heart for this post! These creatives ought to read it & realise what they have done & what we want.

They have not only butchered his character but r making him irredeemable! We r not shown anything about his pains & sufferings for the last 6 months, neither were we shown the trauma he went through not only in the blast but immediately after the blast when he recovered he suddenly was given the shock that he was going to perish in few months but to top it he has this guilt eating him up that for him an innocent man gave up his life! I am not even counting what that doc told him y'day how GS wasted his life for him who is going to live for such a short time but just the bare fact that someone is dead because of him! I can't even imagine what a heavy heart filled with guilt & remorse he is carrying all by himself with no one to share. Its not a very trivial thing to have someone give their life for u & here we r talking about Prem who used to give his right arm to help even strangers.

So all these very conveniently was omitted from being shown. I demand to see the pain he underwent. Its not fair on him to defend himself all the time & justify his actions.

They have a carrot in form of HC & they make him do all the possible acts so aptly that we always remain hooked to see him no matter what. Once they make him GS after his comeback with all possible indications that he is Prem, then again he was full fledged GS & after that now again he is Prem & everytime kudos to HC for carrying it out so perfectly. But that's so not fair for the character Prem, the character who was out of this world with his character, personality, culture & upbringing today is stooped so low that even we r finding it difficult to accept him in this wimp role. A successful businessman & so gullible! There wasn't even a thought in his mind about a second opinion? He was always trusting but there is something called common sense as well!

Last 6 months they glorified Heer's pathos & suffering & miseries & when it came to Prem just 2 episodes of his narration with tears & we r done?? No, no, no, no we won't accept it, I want to see how exactly he survived those days & nights missing, craving & pining for his family & love Heer, how did he keep a tab on his family, how he helped the family discreetly, how he saved Heer all along again staying in the background......show us all these to atone his character. 2 episodes is not just enough to do justice to him for these past 6 months.

I wholeheartedly agree with everything u said Raksha, they have killed that Prem we fell in love with. They have destroyed that essence & soul of Prem. Previously they changed Heer & now they r doing it with Prem. Again Heer will be all tears for the next few days over Prem & he will be tight lipped when she will be flooding tears over him or when the family will question her chastity or initially bash her for saying he is GS & not Prem. They better turn his character around & stop showing this nonsense the usual typical BT way, glorifying the female lead & demeaning the male lead.

God I am so furious! Thanks again for this post!

Thank you for opening a topic like this,,, The prem we saw in yesterday's epi was so different of wat we loved.. He was not at all the prem who stood up infront of everyone to fight for heer.. He didn't care as to wat will heer go through or wat has she gone through during his absense.. all he cared was that he could not see his family see him dying?? No the creatives are totally spoiling prem's character and i beg them to please stop it.. It's too much and heer has gone through alot already and not more please,, even she has feelings, why is she always put into soemthing like this??

and ya I totally agree with all the points you mentioned above....

Creatives are only trying to show that Heer is stronger than Prem thats the only reason they killed prem for in the first place!!! Thats how all damned BT serials work, female lead has to be stronger...before his death Prem was the stronger one so they killed him and showed heer's pain down our throat for 5 months so that we feel for her and when prem returns she should be the stronger one!!! And that is exactly what has happened people are bashing Prem's character now just because his pain has not been shown and everything was simplified into 1 and a half epi!!! 😡😡😡 The only reason i liked this show was because in this serial for the first male and female lead were equally important, now they are hell bent on ruining it because BT females suffer from some sort of a superiority or inferiority complex!!! 🤬

ya please get real. Prem was raised in Canada and he was sucessful business man. How come he just believed the so called "Doctor". And please my request to "The Creatives" please make Prem's charector strong and Please bring Prem and heer enternal love back. Enough of old recycle strories. and enough of crying.

Ok i m supposed to be revising my notes right now .....but see where i am *shakes head*.....i m hopeless😆.......and I PROUDLY blame harshiti, premeer, and all the LuFos for making me addicted to this forum *hands on hip*......now back to the topic

🥱 *yawwwnnnn*.....di tell me abt it......first it was 'bauji bauji my only cowji' buhuuhuhuhu....now it's 'i-feel-so-bebas-becoz-of-the-famous-DoGtor', buhuhuhuhuuu *smacks head with the book*

di, i don't want to talk abt today's epi but i definitely want to thank you becoz hopefully these 'hole-in-the-brain' creatives may sneak in to this post and hopefully change the track😳

However, the only scene which made me do 'awwwwwww' was when he was talking abt his grandchildren and that heartbroken smile through tears was priceless ...mashallah.....*hugs*
