well, i must admit i am curious to see how hc/ag actually fare when acting with someone else.

wanna know s'thing really really funny?

i had totally absolutely completely sworn off hindi tv-serials when they started this show.

in fact, i remember s'one telling me about it, and i totally snorted, and sniffed, and acted hoity-toity and said this would be the last serial that i would ever consider watching -- like, ever!

i stopped flipping channels one day because of prem's voice.

but i actually started actively making sure that the tv was turned on, and on *+ every day, when i saw the jail-scene phhandooh.

there has never been s'thing like that on hindi-tv-serial ever before. nothing as passionate as when prem's fingers grabbed down hard on heer's fingers through that jail grill. nothing. nothing before. nothing ever since. seriously. sometimes i think not even prem and heer have managed anything as innocently passionate since then either.

<pause>

but then again. i could be wrong, y'know!

hmmm.... i think i can feel another poll rising in my ephe-infested brain...

hey jyoti. 😊 i'm sorry you missed me. although, i must admit -- is sweet of you to say you have.

i ... have not been missing prem-heer. i've been doing this weird life where i have to remember that this show is not on air anymore. mostly 'cause i need to finish my ffic. 😆 but also, 'cause at the strangest times, my mind slips back into prem-heer world.

and there isn't a thing i can do 'bout it!

so s'times i just have to struggle to remember that they don't come on tv anymore -- they're kinda always there in my memory.

is kinda scary -- i don't think i've remembered a pair like this ever. i've never bothered watching a pair till the very end of their sorry tale (ie, i ditched angad-kripa, lakshya-kt, even my beloved raj-sudha long before their tales ended). which of course means that i stopped thinking 'bout them too.

but prem-heer?

they're still there. i still remember them with... uh ... hate. 🤣

hmmm -- must remember to make a note in the ihp-club** notes.

fact: not having the show on, does not make the ephe any less strong! 🤣

@estee: good to see u around. it is really not fair that not only do we loose Prem and heer but also one of the biggest supporters of prem-heer are one at the same time. not fair. i know u r busy but pls keep coming more frequently. btw my ans is a big NAY. i miss them terribly. and you are right this is the only show which i have sat thru till the last episode such is the magic of Prem and Heer. and the saddest part is i really dont know if i'll ever get to see these two brilliant actors come together onscreen again to recreate the same magic.

hey, hope. 😃 ya, i will try -- just not as hopelessly hopeful about that as i used to be about prem-heer-are-one. man, was i hopelessly hopeful or what?? i'm really, really, really glad that all that hope wasn't wasted, no? they really managed to be insanely prem-heer-are-one till the end, no?

y'know? i am guessing they will. maybe not immediately. but sometime later, in life, i think they will. and if they never do, i'll live with prem-heer. they will do just fine. 😃

it'd be cool seeing them do a ... ever seen an old tv-show called "remington steele"? one of pierce brosnan's first big jobs. a girl sets up a detective agency with a fake boss -- 'cause no one will give a girl detective work. and one day, this guy just walks in out of the blue and takes over the boss' job, 'cause the clients try to insist on meeting the boss? and he takes all the credit -- even though she is still the person solving all the cases?

brilliant! and i would so love hc-ag in such a situation. except... i was thinking: let hc be a wedding-dress designer (ooh, wedding organiser??! 🤣), who creates a fake girl boss 'cause people trust girls as wedding dress designer/wedding organisers better. and it is working, when suddenly ag walks in and takes over the boss' job. and he can't kick her out, 'cause the clients do demand to see the boss, and he can't keep fobbing them off forever!

man, would i love to see hc/ag do this!

personally, i'm terrified that these two will never get a script -- with dialogues and an essence -- that was even as half as lovely as they got in this show.
i'm truly terrified of seeing these two in any of the settings/shows that are on tv these days. i can't a single show that is worth a five-minute watch. either they're silly, or they're hysterically dramatic.

*pause* hmm. actually, most of our show was hysterically dramatic too, i guess. 😆 just that this crew managed to create enough brilliance -- even with the same old situations -- that made for great parts in episodes. no? sometimes, i catch an odd 2-3 minute segment where the situation is something that was there on our show. but the spark, the charisma is totally missing from what i'm watching.

one day, when i have the time, i'm gonna have to do a wtf again. 😆
