I finally decided to unreserve😆 And on the day too. How cool am I?😎
I'm sorry I've had to much coke😆 Anyway, movig along
It's been a year already?😲 Wow it went by pretty fast.
I remember when I first saw Kis Desh... My friend kept going on and on about Heer and this show and I started wondering, who is this Heer and Prem? What's so special about them? I finally had enough and using Google and I-F, I came across this forum and saw my first epi of KDMHMD. I believe it was the epi where Heer came back from jail and then there was the whole Harman accusing Prem scene. After watching that, I became hooked and finally understood why my friend liked it so much. What really pulled me towards the show were the characters Prem and Heer. I loved how innocent they are/were (confused about the whole Prem situation at the moment) and the onscreen chemistry shown by AG and HC. And of course the Preet being...well Preet😆 Him and his funny ways😆 It was very entertaining to watch and I loved how there was a consistant theme of Prem Heer being one. And unlike other shows that I've watched where the guy ALWAYS blames the girl and sides with the family, Prem actually stood up and had the courage to face everything. And of course for all thos phhandoohs. Those were always the best part of any epi and the chemistry between phand and hhand always burned the screen.
It's because of the little love story that started off as fulfilling their parents' promise and developed into something much more deep that we (well I anyway) fell in love with Prem, Heer and the show. And it's because of this that we the fans gathered on this forum to dicuss something we had in common, this show. So basically I would like to thank everyone who is part of KDMHMD for giving us Prem, Heer, phhandoohs, and of course helping us fans on IF make meet other members and make new friends.
Happy One Year!

hoye? Special thanks to ME??☺️.....awww that was so sweet of you khushi ...you all are welcome honey buns😃.......
hmm....so, where I should start from? I basically started watching this show when the Junejas moved back to India. Even though I was not a regular viewer, yet I used to read the updates for time pass, hoping to catch some interesting storylines. The first thing that got me into reading the updates were the
Names: Prem and Heer, the names themselves compliment one another.
Then finally the day had come when I first watched a scene from this show, Premeer's first meeting. Their first encounter at the night with a simple yet electrifying collide. As if the eyes had taken over the lips to deliver words from one to another and I was completely mesmerized.
After that came the shiv mandir scene and finally their face to face confrontation. I loved it.
NOW comes the time when I actually lost my heart to this couple. The first 'blocking way' scene. Prem's love-filled eyes and Heer's nervousness had completely transformed the scene into the most passionate scene ever. Since then I have fallen in love with this show.
Then started their eternal love-story. Their eye-speaking formula had taken my heart away. Their passionate yet pure, sensational yet simple love story had made me believe in the beautiful essence of love.
If it wasn't for the Creatives, then we would have neven been able to see such wonderful heart-touching scenes. If it wasn't for the Harshaditi, then we would have never been able to feel those beautiful segments. They have been completely justifying their respective characters.
NO DOUBT that I loved Premeer, I love Premeer and I will always love Premeer. Premeer is one, there is no Prem without Heer and there is no Heer without Prem.
We have been through different emotions during different phases of the show in this one year and leaving behind all the bitter/dreadful/heartbreaking moments and keeping all the beautiful, sweet moments in our hearts, I want to request BT to continue with the essence of Premeer's eternal lovestory. This show is ONLY meant for PREM(Harshad) and HEER(Additi) and NOONE can take any their place, not even any look alike.
However, I would like to congratulate BT and kis desh team for completing their first year. I would like to thank BT and kis desh team to come up with such talented actors and creating yet another passionate-electrifying-magnificent-lovable couple, Premeer (Harshaditi).
I would also like to thank all the members in this forum for making it the bestest desh ever. Congratulation to all the people who have been contributing in one way or the other to make this forum active since last year.
Thank you KHUSHI and SHIFFU for presenting this idea in the best way. LOVE YOU.
luv

First things first...Congratulations to the entire team of KDM and also the ardent viewers who gave the show its fame and popularity....👏

Can I begin with making a wish regarding what I would love to see now

"In a high intensity drama Heer finally makes Prem remember everything about himself, his Heer and his family"

Now lets see what I have to say...😃

Truth be told....talk about BT shows and I keep myself at a safe distance from them....I despise the way they mold their stories, making the leads go through umpteen marriages, breaking relationships, exaggerated situations,'holier than thou' heroines, wimpy heroes...this is my general opinion of any BT show...The shows that I have watched so far made me come to this decision..In fact except Kutumb (which is by far the best BT show that I have watched, I must say) I haven't even finished watching the other 3 that I have started...KTH (after RK left),KYPH(after the main leads started behaving like street dogs🤢) and Kasturi (after the heroine irritated and annoyed the heck out of me with her antics🤢)....

So I was very skeptical about Kis Desh... to begin with....in fact I ignored the show until I accidentally came across a beautiful mother-Son scene on Youtube around the end of May....I simply loved the brilliance of the emotions showcased by the guy and the relation that he shared with his mother.....I got curious to know more about the character and the actor who played the character...Thus started my journey with Kis Desh....

Needless to say, the main character that attracted me to the show and continue to attract me, is Mr.Prem Juneja played brilliantly by Harshad Chopda!!!!Loved the beautiful relationship he shared with his parents, his siblings and his beloved....Loved the scincerity and honesty with which he conducts himself...Then I loved the calm and poised Heer...Also I loved the way the purity of the characters stayed intact through all the ups and down that they went through...

Points that I liked about this Show:

1.Prem Juneja...how he conducted himself...not being a regular BT wimp - brilliantly performed and given life to by Harshad Chopda...

2.Heer...The best female character that I have seen in all the BT shows that I have watched so far...a coy,docile,self-respecting,strong willed and affectionate girl....played beautifully by Aditi Gupta...

3.The eternal and everlasting love that Prem and Heer share...

4.Gayatri mom...The best mom ever...selfless, affectionate and caring mom...Till date, she has never disappointed me...Hats off to Shama Deshpande...

5.The beautiful Mother-Son relationship!!!

6.Preet Juneja: perfect Lakshman to his brother Prem...he is the sunshine of the show...awesome debut performance by Sushant Rajput...

7.The beautiful brother-brother relationship that Prem-Preet share and especially Preet's affection towards Prem...

8.No multiple marriages...

9.The proceedings of the show so far stuck to the main essence of the story- Premeer are 0ne!!!

10.Beuatiful cinematography- especially during the Shiv Mandir scene...

11.The dialogs...especially to Prem and G mom...

12.The direction- especially during Mr.Gari...

13.The way Good always won over the evil...

14.The props used like Jugni, Doves and the Full Moon....😃

15.Beautiful and soul stirring b/g music which really goes so well with the show...

Things that I did not like:

1. The adamant and head strong father Lalit Juneja...he really seemed so full of himself and never seemed to care about his children and their likes and dislikes- especially of Prem and Preet...

2.The disappointment is going to stay with me, that Lalit never really apologized to Prem or never really took the responsibility of his wrong doings...Instead he just went ahead and slapped that Daljeet and very conviniently landed the whole blame on her...

3.The inconsistencies in the script..

4.Sloppy editing...

5.Inconsistencies in the characters...especially in Heer off late and sometimes in Prem and even Preet...

6.Prem's abrupt death...something which could have really been avoided...

7.Thanks for bringing Harshad back in to the show, but I really dislike the way the creatives keep playing hide and seek with the viewers in terms of 'this is Prem-no this is Gaurav'crap...The story would have been really interesting had it been made clear to us as to who this was...

8.The eccentric behaviour of Veera...I mean which girl of the present age and time behaves in such a hysterical manner...Character Veera does not belong to this time at all...she doesn't behave like a well educated girl young girl...😕

Umm...I guess that is all for now...I shall come back and edit this if I have anything more to say...😃

And last but not the least my dearest forum members and friends....If not for you wonderful people, I would not have been able to enjoy this show as much as I am enjoying it now....😳

Thanks to all the updaters (of the show as well as the SBS and other events),picture updaters,VM makers, analysts, beautiful post starters,FF writers, and the members whose mere presence makes this forum such a lovable place...

Once again....A Very Happy Anniversary Kis Desh......👍🏼

Raksha

PS: Thanks to Rehu for such a beautiful idea and to Khushi and Shiffs for giving it such an awesome shape and providing us with this wonderful thread....😃
