Tujhe mein rab dihktha hai…
Heer sat at her window sill, watching drops of rain fall from the sky. 7 days she thought…7 days had changed her life, and now, there was no way to bring them back. She herself had asked her Dad for those 7 days. But now…she wished she hadn't. What was supposed to be 7 days of fun and frolic, had lead her life into complete turmoil.
"DI!" Meher shouted from outside "Come play in the rain"
Heer came out of her trans, and opened the window
"Meher! Stop it! Come inside
Heer flinched back, fearing the rain would touch her
"Di! Its just water!! Come out!" Meher said twirling in the rain
Heer closed the window, ignoring all that outside, she crawled into bed, covering her head…Trying to turn back time…
"Patha nahi Heer ko kya hogaya hai?" Teji said, drying Meher's head with a towel
"She probably still has…Whats that called some lag?" Meher said biting into a chocolate bar
"Ofs Jet-lag" Daljeet said
"KOnsa Jet Lag? Usko Australia se aye hue 2 hafte hogaya hai! Jab se ayye hai, assa Lagtha hai hasna bhool gaye!" Teji said, heading toward the kitchen
"Don't mind parjaye, par Australia bejne ki zaroorath kya thi?" Daljeet asked cutting some vegetables

RING RING
Heer got up irritated "Hello!" Heer projected
"relax" said Ashlesha
"oh, its you" Said Heer apologetically
"No problem, whats wrong? Ever since we've been back, you haven't called me?" Ash asked
"Uh…Actually, voh…I've just been tired…" Heer managed, as tears brimmed in her eyes
"Well, its been a week!! How tired could you be…Plus we need to meet and exchange pictures, I mean we hardly spent any time together during the break…Have you spoken to-"
"No" Heer interrupted suddenly "I…I gotta go Ashlesha…I have…I have some work" Heer said, her voice breaking up. She hung up, tucking the phone under her pillow, she laid in bed, opening her side drawer, she pulled out her camera, removed the memory chip, and dropped it into a glass of water…
Tears streamed down Heer's eyes, as she tried closing her eyes, she felt her heart burn…
