Just read this on telly chakkar (I know we can"t use stories from telly chakkar. But thought you guys would like to know). the feature is about some stars who are not seen on television not only bcoz of the strike but also bcoz they want to take a break from schedules etc. They have quoted Harshad in it. Here goes:
"Even Harshad Chopra has decided to take it easy after Jis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Though he was in the news for being selected as Arjun for Ekta Kapoor's Kahani Hamarey Mahabharat Ki but was unceremoniosuly removed from the show. "Contrary to what people feel, there is no tiff between me and Balaji. I had even finished a photo shoot with Manish Malhotra, but since I was doing the other show, I did not want to take up something new." Harshad's role in the other show was supposed to be a short one but actually went on for almost eight months. "I am taking a break now. I had loads of pending stuff to do on the personal front. Have to finish all that and before taking up a new show. Will wait till I get a good offer," says Harshad. "
So does this mean he is through with Kis Desh Mein? Surprisingly he didn't mention anything about Nach Baliye and the article also didn't mention that he was to play the lead in Tuj Sang (remember they mentioned how he was replaced with another guy and then he was replaced with Kunal). If he was on a break then why did he do the voiceover in the 3-hr episode. I guess we'll have to wait and watch. I really hope he comes back to the show soon.
