During the start of the show i expected something different because heer and PREM were meant to be!
if they weren't then what was the point of all of their wonderful moments together?
especially the start, where:
-> The phone line gets interrupted, and heer ends up calling prem
-> At the train station, where first prem helps heer without knowing who she is, and protects her from the gundas, and then second where her 20-yard long dupatta drapes him and time seems to stop
-> When he sees her at the shiv mandir (his fav. spot as well) and realizes that he's in love with the girl with those pretty eyes!

I just want harshad as prem! If he comes back as some other man, all ekta manages to do is bring the SAME story (once again. yay. *rolls eyes) with a new packaging.. i know they say that old wine is good, but I'm actually very tired of sipping the same aged concoction.
Ekta needs to give the audience what they really want (as in heer and prem together, without her stretching the show for no real valid reason) for her to once again get back on the top! She's wondering why these new shows (read: bidaai, balika vadhu) are getting the audience's appreciation, then she needs to realize that this is the case because the stories are for the most part believable, and hence relatable, and also because it's a simple story. None of the crore-pati to road-pati stories, nor do I want to continue watching a story where people are flying in from different parts of the world, and living with the junejas. Heck, throw the people out! There's only so much hospitability one is entitled to!
Lol.. sorry about the rant! I just want the old KDMHMD back! Ekta owes us!
