You can't compare Mihir's situation with this because when the twist in Kyunki happened the serial was one the most popular show on TV (Kis desh hasn't reached that level of popularity. If they had killed off the girl in Ballika Vadu or Sadhana in Bidaai it would cause some uproar). Moreover, it was probably (can't be sure) the first time that they were killing of the lead male character (must be Balaji's first try). Besides, that show had more of a family audience whereas I think this show has a younger crowd. Still SBS did do a special with the lead and also tellychakkar did mention that the fans are very upset and quoted Harshad saying that the channel has been receiving petitions from his fans. I think Star and Balaji did the whole SBS thing to guage the audience reaction because otherwise they don't need to do it. It's their show they can kill anybody they want why give the audience an explaination? Actually the whole thing is very confusing. And one of the most important thing to note is that now audience have way too much serials to choose from. Most of Balaji serial viewers are tired of their tracks of separating the jodis. So they have given up and moved to the next best option. If you notice the TRP charts you'll notice that Jai Sri Krishna is already no 3. People have already moved away from Kis Desh mein which will work in favour for us because the TRPs will fall and hopefully that'll open Balaji's and star's eyes. I think we should continue with the mails and petitions but the best technique is to bring the TRPs. If you know anyone in India who watches the show ask them to stop immediately (either watch the repeats or on the net).
