There was a special segment on Zee's show House Arrest where Ekta said to media why Harshad was replaces. Ekta said her other serial she won't take the name Harshad role in it was going to end last month but now it will end next month. In Mahabharat Arjun's is about to enter & it would have been difficult for Harshad hence he was dropped from the show.
