appreciation, requsts n complains 4 da forum.edit

Well, I have anodr 3-4 hours before I go again onli to come bak dat is. .so i decided to post this..it had been n our minds for ages and high time someone came forward wid it. this is a sequel to trivy's post bt the context is da forum dis time..

.i hav been catchn up wid da ftorum topics ....all dat has been going on here and i hate to say that dis forum has lost its initial spark...da spark it had till the dargah episodes....i dont know wht the missing element is and i dont fink i hav the right to point fingers at others as well for i myself have been so inactive; bt i had been so deeply attached to dis plx once, tht it kills me to see its current state...apologies in advance for what u will have to bear wid n dis post; sumhow i just cudnt help bt post dis before levn...

i dont mean to offend anyone wid dis topic, just my humble opinion over what has turned out of one of my fav places on IF...so muh so dat we dont even feel liek goin to our andolan at times😲😭

Appreciation:

1. I dont think I can ever express it out on words, how thankful I and my friends are what the mods hav been doing for this forum, especialli Shifs. Member awards, MOTW, contests, friendly banter, the regular stickies, NLs, it takes effort and heart to do all this. THANKS A TONNE GUYS FOR BEING WID DIS PLACE THRU ITS THICK AND THIN..i must confess that most of the time, even I ever feel like posting, its for Shifs n particular. Even though I havnt realli interacted wid her as suh, but i hav an inkling, how hard she has been trying to revive this forum and to get the forum back in shape. My heartfelt apologies for being so ignorant abt it all dis while..I was quiet buzy and liek i said the general atmosphere of the forum
2. To all the video and pic updaters. 👏
3. To members liek Triv, Mels, estee,Vibsy, kimmu, phfan, angel82, shafaq, anita fan, Bul3 sofia, shabo,hip-hop,etc...i hope am not missn out on anyone...for sticking by wid dis place all dis while, for coming up wid nice interesting topics and trying their utmost to retain the charm of da forum..cant thank u guys enuf👏

REQUESTS/COMPLAINTS:

1. I wont take names here, but there has been so many of not-so-sensible posts, that I was compelled to make dis post. 90 percent of the topics are one or 2 liners, and the one or two lines put across leave us wonderin wht to reply?...cant we think before posting? Give us material to reply.."content" that is am askn of as i post...wht is dere to reply n topics like "are Harshitti dating", "Harshad's smile is so hott", "please please help"...
2. Topic names n caps are suh a putt offf
3. The grammar used is....😕😕😕
4. Umpteen REPEATED topics
5. Half the posts are requests for videos and pics...
6. Bareli little or almost no discussion on the episode itself...members freaking out on things like da preview...and comn up wid topics, I refuse to even comment on..😕😕
7. If you look around, there hav been bareli any posts whih hav taken some solid discusion to even the fourth page..let alone those 20-30 page discussions per post we used to hav once upon a time.😕😭
8. What is up wid topics such as "I dont think Additi is pretty" ..Excuse me...who gives us the right to comment on anyone's looks...aent they god gifted.?!!..why even contemplate on suh trivial issues. agreed, dat everyone has their own opinion bt opinion abt matters suh as "looks" and dat too debasin comments are highli disgraceful.
9. Can we please get rid of all the afforementioned shortcomings and work towards what kis desh forum was once upon a time. I am sure it is not that difficult and we all are beautiful people in our own right. i am sure, wid a little help, we will revive dis place.

I am not saying that all the new members are bad. Heck, I am a new member myself. I joined in like July by posting a topic on PH's 1st July hug. I got really good response and a warm welcome and decided to be active in the forum. 😃

Sid you asked when the forum started going downhill? I do know coz I was monitoring the forum for interesting topics. The forum started going down the hill during the AG leaving fiasco. New members started pouring in, making the same topics and discussion and Spamming. We all thought that it would die down but it didn't and members are Spamming our beloved unique forum left and right. Now after that rant, I will get to the point 😆

Appreciation:

1. To Shifs. I know she also monitors many other busy forums and modding is a hard, time-consuming job. I know coz I have done it. It's very hard to be fair to each and every members by keeping aside personal differences and likes/dislikes. Shifs we cannot thank you enough.😃

2. For all the sane members who make interesting topics and for all the up-daters(preview/written/pictures/videos) You all rock! BIG Time! 😉🤣

Requests/Complaints:

1. I saw members making posts on Aditi's hair,😲 on her teeth and God knows what not. I actually saw a post about someone crying over Aditi's fake hair being curled..I mean seriously! Such topics makes me wonder about the person's sanity..or lack of it.

2. I HATE SPAM! I do. It's lingering from the Mod days. I was one of the Hitlers over the spam thing and I still am. It annoys me silly when I saw one liners. Why make a topic if you yourself don't know what to write in it to make it interesting?

3. Personal topics. People post about being Goldies and stuff..which is so unnecessary in my opinion.🥱 But I saw many topics which are so *censored* that I wanted to bang my head on the keyboard. One member posted asking for help on her Avi and then wrote that she didn't feel like posting it in Help Desk. Man, you are soooooo lucky I am not standing behind you right now.😈

4. Stop with the horrible grammar and spelling. Use spellcheck(download Google toolbar) and use WORD when typing out your reply so that it can correct your grammar. I was GNU in my Mod days, did you know that? 🤣 It makes me wince when I see topics like that. It's fine when you are chatting but when typing a post, plz try to use correct grammar and spelling. It's fine if you use a word or two of chatspeak but the whole reply in chatspeaks makes me dizzy. Plz, I beg of you. I swear to God I twitch with this horrible carving of editing the post myself and adding correct spellings and grammars... 😕 when I read such posts. 🤣 BTW, GNU means Grammar Nazi Union 🤣 You seriously Do NOT want to meet the leader. I was the sub leader. 🤣

5. Stop with the CAPS! And I don't mean the one you wear on the head..but the one that is permanently attached on your brain. Caps means shouting in computer language. If you want to show that you are exclaiming in shock or whatever then plz plz plz use the exclamatory mark. Plz.

I know I was mean and umm..I don't care. Someone had to point out the problems frankly now that Vibhs is not here 😭 I would have paid big bucks to read her reply on this topic *sigh*

There is only this that I have to say: Kis Desh...Mera Dil is NOT the best forum ANYMORE. It is not the most active forum anymore, it is NOT the craziest forum anymore..., it is not even the KDMHMD forum nowdays.

Siddy, you don't know what your appreciation means to me and the team...it is the BEST appreciation ever...it tells us that we are doing a good job and can be better...more better...but Siddy, I somehow feel that I failed as a Mod...I couldn't keep the forum's spirit up, I couldn't keep it active, I am sorry. We as Dev Team members can't do nothing until members themselves help us, posting topics for help, useless topics is NOT what we are looking for...almost all contests go down dead, without particiapte, even MOTW was dead before MOTW went more than 5 pages and so did DOTW and GOTW, but this time it is DEAD...DEAD...DEAD. It is not a nice feeling closing down more than 5 topics a day, sending members PMs and even going as far as warnings...it is not a nice feeling.

The picture and video updater are doing a FABOULOUS job 100 claps for them.

I would like to especially thank Mels, Triv, Khushix, Anshu and Kimmu for sticking with KDMHMD while everyone was gone...thanks guys.

Complaints/Requests:

Siddy, I agree with whatever you are saying, and you are very much true with that, but seeing all the topics being posted each day, it isn't easy to go through all those topics and polls, almost half of the page sometimes are filled with polls, and almost polls which are repeated, members posting the same topics 3 -4 times...there isn't even ONE single healthy discussion, rest are FFs.

You won't believe it Siddy, there has been ALOT of bashing going around in this forum, and by that I mean ALOT.

Siddy, this is my guarantee, with MNST back in action and the Andolans running again, we will have the old KDMHMD forum back in no time.

I don't really feel like putting a sticky up there for things like this, but this time it is serious, very serious.

I couldn't agree more. I guess before the story line fixes up, we need to fix up our forum. The forum has been quite dead, there are no healthy discussions, and its just not the same place it used to be. I don't know when we lost it, but we did, and i really hope we get back to our normal selves.

Appreciation:

1. I think the most imp. person in this forum has to be Shifali. She keeps this forum binded, and you can clearly see the things she does for the forum. Its easy for people that come here to catch up with the show, to know what happened before. So i guess the credit to that goes to Shifali.
2. Other than that, I think that almost every member in this forum is really nice, and cares about everyone here. I've seen so many birthday posts, and those people have been wished by so many people here, even if they don't know them.
   

REQUESTS/COMPLAINTS:

1. Sometime's I feel like there's more poll's then real discussion topics here. And the poll's aren't very good polls either, most of them start a rivalry between people.
   
2. I've seen so many topics start on the promo's/previews. Can't we just discuss the issue in one topic? Why do there have to be so many topics on the same thing? You don't know which one to go to then, and then you just loose interest in talking about the issue. So I think members should be more careful when posting topics, and make sure no one has posted it before.
   

Other than that, i think you've covered everything, and I agree with everything. It kind of hurts to see that we have more Requests/Complaints than Appreciation's. But ahh, i hope we all concentrate on this, and try to make this a better place. If I can think of anything else, I'll be editing my post. Cuz of right now, this is all I can think of too.. hehe.
