so i've found the bad side of my life. hw for tuesday means i miss monday's episode (good thing). hw for thursday means i miss wednesday's episode -- but i get to see thursday! argh!!! exactly what was happening in the show today?? have i been away that long???!
* big thing: y'know? i've always said that i'd like the show as long as they kept the characters true. what the heck! were they making heer do today? i thought and thought and figured that she's concerned with veera's ... happiness (bleagh!) 'cause it matters to prem. but she was saying the most inane things! "follow your heart"!!?!? it's one thing when you say such things to your beloved, who is from the same generation of b&w movies as you are. it's totally inane saying it to a technicolour full-colour horror like green-and-gold dusted veera.
of course, the worst part of it is that heer sounded like a hypocrite to us, the audience! she is the one who knew that prem was her prem who was in her heart, but decided to say things like "i'm happy with muckmeet" poop to him. and now, she tells veera that she should follow her heart. what does she think she knows about veera anyway? from the viper-speak that veera indulged in -- "my father and my brothers are mine, and i'll show you who is boss in this house" -- i have a baaaaad feeling that she is setting up heer to face a fall with prem and laluchacha. that she is setting heer up.
why, oh why, does this remind me of prem having found out that preeto had the same surname as muckmeet and leapt to the conclusion that preeto was his wife? why is heer following in her beloved's footsteps in being stoooooopid? *huge sigh*
* little thing: does preet love ashlesha? well, if preet is our preet, then his telling ash that his family is her family is the same as a declaration of love, no? the real question is: how much will ashlesha change herself for the love of preet? i couldn't shake off the feeling that she is setting up to get her parents back into the juneja household.... i couldn't shake off the feeling that there is a plan that she and dirtchachi had cooked up.... hmmm.
* little thing: the veera angle to the story line is ... boring. š„± (that is as bad a word that i can think for a story as possible.) the pre-cap bit that i saw of veera and mr. rampal (!!!!!!!) is stomach-churning. eugh! and the allusions they are making to nihaal's ... er ... feelings for veera as milky and weak. and ... well, i just don't think anything that the veera-angle can be anywhere as exciting as prem-heer's track was.
i know this show has always surprised me. i guess they might still do it with veera? hmmm. the question is with prem and his parents out of town for a while, do i still want to wait and watch? hmmmmmmm..? š
* little thing: why does gayatri-mom constantly call heer "puttar" now? is that punjuabi for "the house help"? "personal assistant"? what?? i want to know!
* little thing: er, are the makeup crew not getting enough sleep these days? there are lots of people who end up looking plastic-y? that guy who just got engaged to veera, for instance? (btw, just whose engagement party was this supposed to be -- remind me?) rather round-cheeky. but in a plastic-mouldy way, not in a prem-round-cheeky way.
btw2, why was veera so shocked at her father having planned this? surely, if this is an "nri" friend, then they'd have to have been planning this for a long time? why does laluchacha just luuuuuuuv to pull off these rapid engagements on his kids? and isn't it funny the order in which he does it? first his eldest, and now his youngest? er...... i give up. i'll just leave the laluchacha puzzle-solving to mnst and vibha! it's sooooo much more entertaining when they do it. š¤£
* prem thing: how sweet that in the middle of the party, prem notices that his beloved is disturbed and "eye-asks" her what is wrong. seriously, these two should never do vocal conversations -- in fact, those conversations always make me want to smack either one on the upside of their head. their eye conversations, on the other hand -- always make me go *sigh* and š
* little thing: why, oh why, were all the brother that happy when they heard laluchacha announce that he has arranged for veera's engagement? oh, wait a bit, what am i asking?? engagement means marriage (eventually). marriage means that the girl has to leave the house. of course, they are going to be happy!. they will get rid of veera! okay, got the all-round happiness. š
highlight of the episode: if there was one, it was wiped out of my head by the time that veera finished viper-speak to heer. after that, i zoned out. š
okay, these are not from tonight's show, but from the best recent eye-candy show -- 12th aug. so i cheated. so what? š
