Two of Ekta's leading ladies fired
Additi Gupta (Heer) of Kiis Desh Main Hai Mera Dil's character is dead in the show. It is been said that Additi had a tiff with Ekta Kapoor which led to her ouster. And on the heels of her departure, comes news that now it is time for Kasturi (Shubhangi Atre) to leave as well. We spoke to both Additi and Shubahngi.
"It is great that I will be having break. From the last one year I have been shooting in both day and night shifts. I have heard about this that focus from my track is going to shift and now they want to show more of Robbie and a new character's love story. But name of the show is Kasturi and I'm playing Kasturi so whether they are going to give me break or my track will vanish that I really don't know," says Shubangi.

So speaking about breaks, will she be heading for one?
"I have so many pending things to do. I have my family to look after. I am also getting so many film offers which I am not able to do because of the show which I want to take up. Not only south directors but Hindi directors too are offering me films. For me it is like I only want to play leads or anythingâŚI want to play good character. Apart from that I have offers of various shows also. I think break will prove good for me," she says.
On the other hand, Additi says doesn't want to speak about the fact her tiff with Ekta has resulted in her ebing shown the door. "I do not want to talk about this subject, I am not shooting for it and do not call me back," says the upset actress.
Ekta was not responding to calls and messages. But a source from her production house informs, "Additi is on a break. We are not sure whether she will be back or not. But she wanted to take a break for her studies and she was playing central character so it was not easy for us. As far as Kasturi is concerned, her track will be there on and off I guess."
