Sony Entertainment Television Asia (SET Asia) is launching a new drama on Monday, July 16th at 7:30 pm EDT. Khwaish, the story of a simple, strong-minded girl Aafrein Hassan, a rich, handsome boy Kabir Khan, and their respective families, will air Monday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm EDT.

The Hassan family is a close-knit, middle class family consisting of the father Hadi, mother Naila, eldest daughter Aafrein, sisters Tamreen and Nasreen, and a brother Yasir. The story begins when Hadi is forced into early retirement, leaving Aafrein to struggle for a job. She, being an ideal daughter, takes the responsibility of the entire family's fortune.

Kabir Khan is the son of Shahnawaz and Zarin. He has two younger brothers, Aazaan and Mazar and a sister Naaz. Aazaan loves and respects Kabir and the two brothers share a unique bond. Aazaan, the pampered son of the family, is pursuing a law degree in London. He has a westernized lifestyle and believes in enjoying life, which is extremely opposite to Kabir's nature.

Kabir and Aafrein fall in love and get married. Aazaan does not like Aafrein because of some misunderstanding caused by Nadira bua, but he accepts her in the family because he feels that Kabir is truly in love with her. Suddenly Kabir meets with an accident and dies. Aafrein is pregnant and the family business is at stake. Aazaan has to leave school to join the family business and eventually Aafrein marries to him.

As years go by, Aafrein comes across the fact that Kabir was murdered and there is family member involved in it. The family's much-protected secret comes out… Don't miss all the drama on Khwaish, Monday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm EDT, starting July 16th, only on SET Asia!

this the article which kripaa was saying that shows zareen murdered kabir....once this track starts i am sure afreen will be back to her old mode which is crying for her love kabir although she lives with azaan now and AA romance will decrease and they show more kraps on murder mystery for sure

my khwaish is this track should not happen or else it will be like ekta other serials more of the mystery and less of romance...it should remain as what it is a AA lover story....i was highly dissappointed with KAA and Kayamath when the track changes and KAA becomes a ghost story and Kayamath change love like changing clothes

and yes they never state that zareen is the murderer its just one of the family member of the khans it may be nadira-kaala-appa-qurban-shanawaz-mazher-naaz or even zareen except for afreen-azaan

i just wish this track doesn't come or else less of AA romance and more on the mystery and drama

yes i agree it neva said dat zareen is da murder bt it sed one of da member involved in it which could be...nadira-kaala-appa-qurban-shanawaz-mazher-naaz or even zareen which u neva know untill u see it!..

qurban and khala are not family members. so we can rule them out.

qurbaan and khala may not be blood realtives, but they are considered family. Couldn't salmaan, masooma, and chooti maa be considered part of the family as well?

The article also said that years go by before afreen finds out that kabir was murdered... maybe it's foreshadowing that AA are going to live happily ever after 😃 (that is until afreen goes into detective mode and stops romancing w/ azaan so that she can uncover the raaz 😕 )
