Khushbu day on.. Shruti buys ice cream for Khushbu and Khushbu tells her to take photo and send by phone to Nani so that Ami will get jealous. Mom and daughter sit in the park and Shruti asks Khushbu to forgive her and tell her that she is really loved but sometimes adults forget to give their time and affection.. While she is talking, Shruti remembers that she has to call Sanjay ** IMO Khushsi really is taken for granted
Sanjay reaches home and his brother and bhabhi tease him about marriage. They tell that mother had introduced Bhavna and they liked her. Sanjay says they are mistaken and he is not marrying Bhavna.
Sanjay goes to his room where his mother is arranging his clothes and pretending all is good. She tells him to get some new clothes stitched. Sanjay asks why she introduced Bhavna as the DIL if she had given him 15 days to find someone. She said that she knows that in 15 days he will not be able to proceed more than ask Shruti for a coffee and waste time. Sanjay says that he is not a kid and will decide on who he marries. His mom says she has dreams about his life and marriage. Sanjay asks what her actual problem is - his marriage or Shruti being in his life. Sanjay tries to make her understand that he thought of Shruti only as a friend but ever since she started taunting him about Shruti, he thought and realised that he loves Shruti, though he does not know Shruti's feelings. Mom says she is a mother of 2 whose life is over whereas his has not started and why he wants to spoil his life. Sanjay tells life is about spending time with someone you like. trust. etc and he wants to take Shriti's hand and walk the rest of the life with her. Sanjay admits that he has not asked Shruti and so she does not know his feelings but his mom says that women understand what is in men's mind and Shruti must be happy knowing she will get a successful husband. Sanjay moves away saying that there is no point talking to his mom.

Nani calls Shruti and asks whether she can keep Ami for some more days.. Instead of sending her to school, nani wants to take Ami for picnic with her friends and Shruti scolds her but Nani has taken permission from their parents as well.
Jasuben comes early in the morning to tell that she has sold their house to a big builder. She warns them to look for another house asap
Breafast table at Mehra house. Sanjay's bhabhi is very diet conscious and serves her husband cucumber flakes. Sanjay's brother on the other hand is very superstitious. Prabha joins them and papaji at the table. Sanjays niece who they call Baby leaves without having breakfast. Sanjay comes and Prabha gets up and leaves saying she is not well and won't eat anything. Once the others also finish and leave, Sanjay confides in his father that he wants his mom happy but he wants to be happy himself but their choices are conflicting. His father says he will support him. Sanjay tells him he is going to talk to Shruti today
Precap: Shruti upset and asks Sanjay why he is not kicking her out as she made such big mistake. They argue and talk over each other and he finally screams I LOVE YOUš
