Today's episode was actually pretty enjoyable. I didn't quite catch the name. I'm sorry. If Anyone else knows, please tell us!!!
Kauffnak Update for 15th May
This story is about a guy named Rishab. He moved to Mumbai from Delhi after he married a girl named Preeti against their parents' approval. He couldn't find a house at first but then came across his friend, named Anand. Anand gave Rishab his flat in Lokandwala. Everything is going fine and dandy till now.
On his first day there, he meets an interesting woman named Mrs. Guytonde outside the apartments. She knows his address (3rd floor, flat # 310). She is talking to a tree which she claims is her husband. She also has a cute puppy named Tiger. Rishab gets freaked out when he realizes that she thinks the tree is her husband and hurries away.
Next day, Rishab is looking for a job and getting dressed for an interview. He gets a job soon in Times of India. He is really happy. He comes home later in the day and goes to the kitchen. He finds bread and butter there and is really surprised but doesn't think much of it. He then puts the bread in the toaster which is conveniently located near the sink. He then goes to his room and sings to his wife's picture. Hr is shown playing the guitar too. On the other hand, the sink is overflowing in the kitchen and soon the water overflows out to the toaster. And electric current is shown from the toaster. Rishab runs to the kitchen and turns off the water and digs his hand into the "electrocuted" water and is still fine. He then kinda cleans it up, takes his toast out (which is still good) and takes it away with butter. The socket is shown. Miraculously the plug of the toaster had been taken out even though Rishab didn't do it.
That night Rishab comes home drunk from Anand's. He does not remember in the morning how he made it into bed with his clothes changed and his food eaten and milk ready! Just then the phone rings, and its Preeti calling from Delhi. Rishab is really happy to hear her voice. In the midlle of the conversation a "cross-connection" takes place. A woman is crying for someone to come home cuz she is lonely. Behind rishab a pot of tea is shown boiling. Rishab cuts the phone and leaves. He remembers the tea and runs to it but someone has already turned the gas off and put a lid on the pot. Rishab is confused.
He meets Mrs. Guytonde adain near the same tree with the same puppy. Rishab tells him how he feels someone else is in the house with him and Mrs. G gives him the puppy called Tiger and doesn't fail to mention that dogs can see and hear things that humans can't. We are shown a ghost walking behind Rishab (though the pup's eyes).
Next morning, Mrs. G is outside the door when Rishab opens it in the morning. He invites her in and she asks about preeti. She then says that she saw a woman crying in his bedroom window last night. Rishab is baffled and claims that he was all alone in the house.
Rishab goes to get preeti later on, Preeti arrives and is happy and putting up a talisman to ward of spirits. Rishab gets a saree which he bought earlier for her but the saree is badly cut up and torn apart. Preeti drops the talisman. Just then the phone rings. It is a woman talking about the previous night. Preeti gets total Indian wife on rishab and starts accusing him of an affair. She also doesn't fail to notice a mark which looks a lot like a love-bite on his neck. Preeti gets upset, they fight and rishab leaves.
Preeti is shown asleep when she wakes up and sees the clock's hands moving very fast, then the bed starts to shake and she sees all these ghosts running around. She is really scared and screams. Rishab gets home soon and sees no one. He goes into the bedroom and then the bathroom where he finds Preeti scared out of her mind and talking about ghosts. He thinks she was dreaming.
Next Day, we see Mrs. G telling preeti about the story of the ghost in their house named Kamla. She telss her how Kamla was beautiful and a newly wed and how her husband didn't care about her and never came home. Kamla waited for him everyday and then when one day she got tired of waiting, she commited suicide. Since then her atma is in the house. At this point we see on the other hand, Rishab gets home. He sees Preeti sitting in the room wearing a pretty red saree (this preeti is actually Kamla under the guise of preeti). They flirt and have lovey-dovey husband-wife moments. Then she is sitting in front of the mirror and he looks up and sees no reflection in the mirror where Preeti is sitting. He freaks out and runs. We are shown Preeti is also running towards home to help Rishab as she had seen his bike outside. Now you see Kamla walking towards Rishab in all her bhootni glory. She is really angry. Preeti and Mrs. G now make it through the door and Rishab and preeti hug. Mrs. G is shown praying over a bottle. Preeti begs Kamla to leave them alone. Kamla just laughs and says that Rishab belongs to her. Mrs. G now jumps in and says that Kamla needs to leave. Kamla laughs at her and tells her that "tu mera kuch nahin bigad sakti" in typical bhootni ishtyle. Mrs. G then uses a more emotional approach and says don't' u want to meet your husband Harsh? He is dead too now and is a "bhatakti aatma". Kamla begs Mrs. G to make her meet him. Mrs. G tells her to have patience and to leave and then she can meet Harsh. She then goes up to Kamla and banishes her by putting her hand on Kamla's head and muttering mantras. Kamla disappears and everything is fine with the world again. Everyone is happy.
But one day you see Kamla again in their living room and this time the puppy, Tiger is playing with her.
