Omg Yash and maan gundas lol! Although my parents don't have the same reason for their dislike towards gc but our parents will always find a reason to dislike him no matter what Bcoz of crazy folks like us. Janaki seems a lot more saner than most of us 😆

Aarrrghhh My parents n Big bro also doesn't like Guru, always making weird comments about Him in front on me 😡
My mom calls him "Chila hua murgha" widout stubble 😆
But all likes Mayuri 😳
Except my big bro, He hates all of them whom I like 😡
Its annoying...

My parents saw Yash during the middlish-end when he grew a stubble, and my dad asked me that "the Sindhiyas have such a big house. Could they not afford a razor?" 😡🤣 Maybe it's because my parents are super traditional telugu people who see a stubble and beard only on goondas in telugu movies, and the heros of their generation were all clean shaven. 😆

Haha, maybe it's because I truly do see GC as a bro. 😆 I never had any attraction for him because of his Ram role, which was venerable to me. Maan never caused me to have feelings for him because "angry young men" type characters annoy me 😳 (the exception being Mr. Darcy ☺️), and Yash was a sweet guy but also not my type. So, throughout all of GC's career, I appreciated his work but I love him like a brother. Honestly, if I ever met GC I would probably tie a rakhi around his wrist to show him that he does have a sister out there a midst all those ladies vying to be his mistresses. 🤣

My parents don't like Mayuri either. 😆 My dad finds her spontaneity annoying and my mom wants to retain the image of Sita which she has of Debina, so she refused to see Chidiya Ghar when she found out what Mayuri's character was like. 😆

LMAO, I have a few more hilarious stories. I'll try to think of more. 😆 Generally I do not talk about Gurmeet & Debina too much with my parents, because they disapprove following celebrities' lives that deeply, but because of Ramayan, I can take that risk. If it was a normal daily soap I was obsessed with, my parents would not even care, lol.

I wonder how my parents would react if Gurmeet ever did a goonda role with such a description. I honestly think they would be scandalized and never see Ramayan with the same face again. 🤣

I'm sure GC would be more then happy to see you, whenever that happens :)

I usually get stuck off my hit on GC mantra whenever his Ram avatar comes to picture. No one would/could ever have those eerie feelings but respect for Ram. That is the beauty of character :)

But apart from being Ram,,,, i totally and madly like him( in that way😳😆☺️)

Did anyone see this sweet SBS of Gurmeet & Debina during Ram Navami in 2009? They both sing the title song of Ramayan in front of a murti of Shri Ram, and they both share a few words about Ramayan also.

If you notice, there is a great change in the way Gurmeet talks then and now. He was for shyer and introverted giving interviews during 2008 and 2009, but once he became more comfortable with the television industry, he became more relaxed in front of reporters.
