It's really unfortunate that a show like JLZ is going off air. Well it's the attitude of the channel that is responsible for this. If it had been on any other channel it would have got more TRP and wouldn't gone off air so soon.

I am definitely not satisfied with the quick wrap up of Jee Le Zara - Producer Shrishti Arya

With her show JLZ all set to bid farewell to the TV screen on 8 May, Producer is taking things in her stride as she gears up to start her new journey with Jhalli Anjali Ke Tootey Dil Ki Love Story from coming week on Channel V.

When asked what went wrong with Jee Le Zara, the lovely woman said, "Nothing went wrong, the show was doing favourably well on the channel. It was the channel's decision to pull it off. With the channel's new strategy of going the nonfiction way, I had nothing to say about it that."

So is there any bad blood between her and the channel, we wondered. "Not at all, why would it be. They have their planning, we have ours; we cannot interfere in each other's workings. Although yes, if it would have been on my hand, I would have surely wanted the show to continue till its yearlong contract. I am definitely not satisfied by the way the show was wrapped up, but we have to move on. This is how the industry works," Shrishti admitted.

Talking about her new show, the cute woman with a million dollar smile averred, "It's a very beautiful show but it's all Niranjan Iyengar's creation, so it would be unfair on my part to comment on the same. Niranjan is a great friend and we share a great understanding and trust. Together we are sure to bring a really amazing' story. Also it's a comeback of our banner to youth shows after Remix, hence we are really excited. The cast is also relatively fresh and with a gripping storyline it's going to be a wonderful show. Chandni (Bhagwanani) along with new boys will be the main protagonist," she added.

The leads of the popular show Remix became youth icons, is the producer hoping to recreate the magic? "I think we have always given very strong protagonists to the viewers and they have been well accepted. They all have the potential to become icons for the sole reason that they are so real," she answered.

Finally, any plans at the Bollywood front? "Most definitely, but there's still time. And it's a very exciting and thrilling time in TV and we are enjoying the phase. Movies will surely come up in the year end, which you all will get to hear soon of," Shrishti concluded.

I just can't believe this channel Sony. There were other shows that are dragging. Why not cancel those? No consideration for viewers and directors where money plays it's role -this is Sony channel

Ha! No surprises there that it was indeed the channel that decided to pull JLZ off air! And all this while, their PR went on a over-drive that the show is being pulled off coz the leads had no chemistry and the show didn't garner TRPs! Blah...! 😡

They're strategy is to go the non-fiction way? Ha! No ways will it work... People will have a overdose of reality shows and that will be the death of the channel!!

I wish Srishti and her company all the very best for her new shows... Will definitely check out her show on Channel V! Its Niranjan Iyenger's baby all the way!

If it was any other channel, with this trp they will wind up in 4-6 months. Sony under Sneha Rajani used to experiment with new concepts and shows like JLZ which has audience worldwide would definitely get a chance inspite of low trp.
New team is in for a shock soon. A channel without fiction shows is 🤢
