Yes its going to be 4 days a week from the week after next one. I was upset at having 3 episodes less...but atleast we are now compensated by 8 episodes more till the end.

Just 5 episodes more is being called an extension? wow! i really wonder what is going on... i think with the current track, they can easily extend it to August ... i am keeping my fingers crossed...hoping for something to happen... i have done what i could.. written emails, sent feedback... feeling very sad.

Lets keep tweeting by tagging SonyTV. I think the problem is Nandini doesnt have very good trps and they want to telecast reality show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. So along with Nandini JLZ is facing the brunt as they dont want to close the newer shows or BALH maybe because of the rapport with Ekta Kapoor.
I have seen a similar situation with another show where a channel wanted to vacate a slot for a reality show. The show I used to watch fortunately had decent trps and the channel shut down another show in a different slot and moved the show I watched to the same slot. The slot change really worked well for the show and trps got better. With JLZ probably Sony is not confident the slot change will work well or not. Anyways I guess only ray of hope is they have got new sponsor and the decision to give a two week extension has come on Friday ie the day after ratings come out. So it looks like Sony is still monitoring how the creatives handle the show and fan response.

What Sony TV has done is just an eyewash, but the audience are not fools. We need to put more pressure on the channel. JLZ is worth fighting for, 7pm slot has only reruns i think and Sony can juggle the timing and extend JLZ, if they really want to.

Himalaya's must have seen some potential otherwise why would they sponsor a show which is going to close down, nobody wants to be associated with a loser. It's just that Sony TV needs to forego it's stubborness to take JLZ off air.

Let us re start our SAVE JLZ mission.

Coming to Encounter, haven't seen enough of it in so many movies. Mani Ratnam's Nayakan was one such classic movie, do we have see it on TV as well.

You are absolutely right...in that case I don't think mein na bhulungi is doing well...there is a fallout between the lead cast ...the actor does not get along with the two actresses...aishwarya wanted out but the ph pacified her to stay...but there is tension...secondly it is not good ...it started well but now has lost it's charm...very dull...it is bringing low TRPs...out of the 4 shows from 8 to 10 pm JLZ is neck to neck with ENP...nandini and MNB are just terrible...they should consider MNB status, like they did with JLZ ...and think of axing it...why JLZ which is doing much better ? Can't they put JLZ at 8 pm ?

JLZ will never work at 7pm or 7.30pm. Its a mature show for city audiences. Those slots are best suited for family drama like Saathiya which are aimed at small town viewers and housewives. City folk are never home so early in India. I think JLZ will work at a later slot like BALH's slot or even 11pm after BALH which is also having CP re-runs.
We shouldnt let up the pressure on Sony. All fans should atleast tweet feedback to Sony after every episode.

Maybe they are not too confident that slot change to 8pm will work. But maybe they are re-thinking now and also monitoring viewer response to the new tracks the writer has opened up. Earlier Ruslaan or Sangita didnt sound hopeful. In the latest tweets they sounded more hopeful.

Like you I feel the same way that sony is being stubborn...it's like it has some grudge against JLZ ..some fallout...they can easily accommodate JLZ if they want to..the problem seems to be something else other than TRPs...like you said no one would sponsor a garbage show ...JLZ is good that's why himalaya sponsored it...but sony does not want to accept...saving JLZ is still on...everyone is tweeting ,sending messages everyday and also sending feedbacks on sony site..keeping fingers crossed..

They can tweak the timing around after studying the target audience. the bottom line is SONY TV should make the effort.
