May be i am at an age where i begin to analyze things rather than not. One question has always intrigued me no end and that is " Why do women need make up"... I am especially inspired to write this after seeing SG in today's episode... she was so strikingly beautiful without make up. In fact, she was distractingly beautiful and i could not concentrate on the episode. My mind went into intrigue once again... Why do women ( or for that matter even men) need make up? Does it make them look any better? can anyone really alter GOD given beauty? To me, the beauty of a woman is like one of those natural settings that no one can take away. Be it a sunrise or a sunset or even a moon lit night, such beauty is felt, is experienced, it is real, it is lasting. If humans try to alter it, the original beauty is gone... it will never be the same ever again. The real identity is what it is in its rawness.

Another observation that probably substantiates my theory - some of the most beautiful characters i have seen (from the west) are those where the heroines were devoid of any make up.

I hope our serials and movies too mature to the extent that we can see characters as natural as possible.
