Friends,

DV dad says to mom " We don't interfere in each other's work, so our marriage is successful" . Is it correct? Pls share your views with me.

Only YG thinks their marriage is successful . She looks very unhappy..
Depends on the couple. Some don't interfere in each other's professional life and it works for them. I think majority of couples discuss abt office, work, home, kids to each other.

I think demarcation of responsibilities and duties is a good thing for clarity in any relationship. In this way yes interference in each others work sphere is not a good idea but at the same time healthy discussions and open communication is also very imp for any relation. One should be open for suggestions and conversation but definitely not imposing one's views on the other.😊
In DV's parents case his father is not even open to listen to his wife, her suggestion which shows he is a control freak and doesn't let his wife share her opinion also😡

For me, the convo between Mom-Dad was horrible & disrespectful.

No, I don't think it was sigh of healthy relationship.

well personally speaking..😊

.my hubby and me...we don't interfere in each other's professional life... he is an engineer...and we believe that each is the best at handling their respective jobs... but we do discuss , share ,suggest to each other... but at the end of the day we take our own decisions
...but agar Ghar ka matter ho toh ... i do sometimes accept his suggestions😉😆

K...back to the forum after a hectic week... 😕

Here's what I think: There is a very thin line between interference & mutual understanding & arriving at solutions through mutual agreement...

Interference in any relationship is dangerous...bcz, end of the day, we are all human beings & we need our personal space. Whenever, two people come together, there's bound to be difference in opinion...how they respect each other's personal space & arrive at solutions that are acceptable to both, is the essence of life... 😊
