Dec. 24th: Things I liked - Page 8

I'm trying to remember how many times we've actually seen a lip-sync sequence in this show...The only other one coming to mind right now is the Salaam-e-Ishq scenario...They usually default to situational song sequences, which I've loved, because the scenarios let the writing show through the acting...They've picked nice songs for those so far! The lip-sync sequences do create a "different feel" for a while...Of course, it would have been nice to have the trademark banter-and-charged-conversation leading to the kiss, but they sort of did that here, only with song lyrics and silent interactions replacing the dialogues...I'm personally fine with them here because they could've been worse - they picked soft, romantic, calm, slightly playful songs and I thought it was quite casual, the way DV kept shrugging Saachi off every time she tried to stop him during the Aadha Ishq sequence. I was glad to see them sort of having a silent conversation during that song, too...It made the actual moment of verbal communication feel like a natural progression from the nonverbal banter between them.

nywyz coming to wat i want to say...i like this thing about the CVs that at every stage they inevitable show the woman in saachi goes into blissful mode and enjoys the moment of love...more because she has fallen in love for the first time that too in her thirties...

like on diwali night she accepted DV's love and admitted that she too loves him...then at night in bed she was tossing in bed sleepless because she was enjoying the moment...
then wen DV proposed her marriage with a ring on her bday...next morning she was dancing and laughing...
and now again after getting kissed by DV (obviously it is her first kiss) she is in blissful mode in the balcony...

i truly love this...i hv never seen this in any other show...at most i hv seen girls rejoicing once they fall in love...but not like saachi who cherishes every phase of love...

i am going to sleep now...but before that i want to place a final question here...i know most ppl here want to believe that DV is and always was positive one because he is the hero second because to justify the title of this show and third because if DV turns negative show will lose viewers...

now this is wat i want to say...DV is not negative like a villain...wat i mean is he is a lawyer...so obviously PE will use him for legal cases rather than outside lawyers...so they sent him to panchgani for the land issue...but then he fell in love with saachi and changed...i think he had changed even before falling in love...prabhu family, dils, panchgani everything has so much positivity and warmth that they changed him...so there is nothing wrong if a hero had ulterior motives initially but changed later on...

second...the show's title can be justified in the long run wen DV will redeem himself and prove himself worthy of her trust...just because show's title is jee le zara doesnt mean that saachi has to find life and happiness now...it can happen in the long run...

third...i dont think there is anything to lose in the number of viewers...if i count myself i wont leave the show as long as ruslaan and sangeeta r part of this show...secondly this show has low TRP...which means the strategy now will be to capture more viewers...and wat other way than creating drama after drama by giving all kinds of unexpected dimensions to DV's character...

but i started this post with a question in mind...today they showed after DV left saachi pricked her finger and there was blood...even nani said her right eye is trembling...and even aji said black cat crossed her path...all these cannot be coincidences...personally i dont believe in all these except black cat which i fear...
but in a show 3 bad omens have been shown...this cant be widout any reason...and the reason can only be DV...just DV belonging to goel family cannot be the matter...i am sure 3 omens can mean something terribly wrong...again i hv a strong feeling that DV is not wat he has been portrayed for so long...either he was negative or he is still negative...

letz wait and watch...if i speak about myself...i am ready for both...DV negative or positive...because the day DV's bro made his entry as PE owner i believed that DV is in panchgani for his family and not for holiday...
here i want to say another thing...we all felt DV's holiday never seems to end...it seems so absurd...now if i think nothing is absurd because DV is not on holiday after all...he is actually working for PE...he did not lie wen he said that he is doing a job...but he never mentioned which company he works for...i am sure he works in the legal department of PE...
wen he said that his dad and bro luks after family business that time also he did not lie...i dont think he is involved in business matters...he only looks after the legal aspects...

I can see how so many members are taken off-guard... thanks to the Goel brothers hugging and Anvay's 'trump card' dialogue.

Now that I've got the negative part outta the way... I'd like to talk about the good part in today's episode!

I think his elder bro(what was his name? Anay?) is hoping DV will back off once he knows his fam is interested in the land-but of course he doesn't realize DV is more vested in this deal than meets the eye😳-it will actually be quite interesting how they handle this track!

And ohh the kiss ka kissa-am just glad it's out of the way-haha

I wasn't too impressed with the entire song sequence-neither aadha ishq nor hulchul hui(bad audio editing)! But as usual the morning after dialogues were trademark JLZ,& I enjoyed those more-DV the romantic muhfat!!😳

Firstly... I'm one of those who believes DV cannot be negative. If it happens, the show will go for a toss. Secondly, we might just be over-analysing, based on a single dialogue or scene. Lets wait and watch how it all unfolds...

Agreed Anvay called DV their 'trump card' ... but does it have to be related to the case? Not necessarily na... Trump card could have other connotations, as in DV being the younger brother he usually uses his charm and gets everyone out of sticky situations... or some such thing. It could really mean anything...

DV may or may not know how deeply involved is his brother in the case... He may think Anvay is helping Pradeep get the land, and not really for himself. Even if he may think/know that his brother is directly involved... he may just think and believe his brother will back off knowing DV loves Saachi and/or is fighting her case. In any case, DV seems to be living in a bubble where his family is concerned... for him they are cool and progressive. He is soon to find out how layered they are.. and not in the positive way!

What would be interesting to know is how DV reacts to his brother's motives... and how DV deals with it and stands by Saachi as he always intended to.

Haha! yaar we have come to expect such great stuff from DV-Saachi scenes that anything that's a bit off feels huge & magnified:) I should give the episode another dekho without any bias-hehe

@Eksie (Ekta?): Sangita was absolutely stunning...That red sari was so simple but the fabric was as thin as the curtains, I noticed! LOL! And that blouse...a big step for Saachi, I think! Sweet and sensual passion is something that Sangita portrays very well, with so much class! There were so many shades to Saachi that I could see...The sweet, touched-by-first-love, girl who wants to show her boyfriend she appreciates him and can be romantic; the woman who possesses grace, charm, boldness, and feminine wiles enough to turn his refusals around - she knows what she wants to do but sometimes doesn't get the desired effect...and then she is a bit tentative to take that final step forward...that is Saachi to some extent during much of the song, and it was super cute seeing her react to DV's "unresponsive" gestures. I loved seeing her fumble around and accidentally mess up a bit, too, because it brought out the innocence in her as well. Cute and realistic - I feel like I'd end up being the same way, haha. So many little, "I love you!" moments from Saachi...and that one bit where she puts her hands and head on his lap and looks up with an, "Is it working?" sort of expression...and it's not working...😆 Oh, I just remembered that bit with DV on the windowsill - his expression when he realized that he couldn't scoot away from Saachi anymore...and then she took advantage of the moment by sitting on his lap...LOL! Yeah, even in this seduction sequence, their expressions and body language made me smile. Ruslaan's expressions were just generally so fun to watch...The "Not impressed, not impressed...I like this...No, not impressed!" vibes! 😆 He couldn't resist in the end...

Hmmm caught up on the past two epis...dunno if there is enough material for a list of likes so I'll just post my take here as everyone else has.


Towel scene was funny...great job on expressions by Sangita...the initial hesitation and working up the courage to see through it...lol...and the fact that it was Dils's idea makes more sense...otherwise even with Saachi opening up, that would have been a big leap idea-wise...


The red sari seduction/song sequence...

Plusses: Sangita deffo looked amazing in that sari...very pretty, song choice.

Minuses: BAD editing, random haphazard shots, flow was off...as a result of which it looked a bit mechanical at times acting-wise...at some points they cut off DV's surreptitious smiles...which rendered the whole thing moot in many ways too I feel...the give and take should have been the whole point.

DV's "Main haar kar bhi jeet gaya" before the kiss...err ok whatever...lol...could have been enacted better.

And the kiss itself...LOLLL hilarious...and sorry but I'm not gonna let it slide as one of those "it was better than many lame sequences of such sort" on TV things...cuz I have to say...something that I've been feeling for a while now with the epis...they were doing SO much better in the lead up...the TEASE was a zillion times better than the actual thing if this is all they had to lead up to after all the hoopla over the kiss...and I'm not just talking bad camera angles...they could have made it more EMOTIONALLY gratifying too rather than do the TYPICAL zoom in on hands clutching each other or STRANGE angles in which they look like they are burrowing into each other's necks😕🤣

I mean COME ON...these two gave us THESE moments...



That chemistry FLOORED us...yeh aaj kya khichdi thi? I'm not even saying they needed to do a proper one given all the TV restrictions...but for a first kiss they could have made it something better than weird burrowing angles.

And what does it speak for when THIS kiss floors us more?



What does it speak for when just their HEADS TOUCHING together has more chemistry than these kind of kisses?




I've been holding off on saying this for a few days now but aaj toh kehna padega...

a) The song sequence was contrived...the whole seduction routine leading into a rushed segue for the kiss...also felt contrived...and these actors have demonstrated their chemistry in much better form before this...now the show is feeling out of form to me.


2) And putting two song sequences BACK TO BACK...bad idea...Ishq hua was also weirdly edited and also SUPER repetitive given it was a quick rehash of 'kuch toh hua hai'...the novelty is more than gone now especially if they redo the sequences in SUCH a similar fashion...I get that romance is the only backbone they have in general so they lean on that...but they can do better...they are capable of better...all of this teasing built up to THAT? lol...yeh tha DV ka "kuch kar baithunga main"? Sorry but direction FAIL.


So now the drama of PE comes to the forefront...this "kiss" was a lollypop for the audience...lol but aise lollypop se toh na hi behtar (just my opinion)...I would have preferred a nicer TALK...or that now forgotten dream date...oh well.


Well I guess kiss ho gayi hai toh Saachi is indeed likely going to misunderstand DV over the PE issue? Ki nahin?😆...I have a feeling yes...nahin toh drama kaise hoga?
