my dear ifs and buts...😊

again with your permission... what is the one regret of your life... tragedy toh jaan gaye hum...

let me start with mine first... i consider this as a regret and not a tragedy...

my daada passed away before i was born and daadi when i was still a kiddo...

but i did have my naana and naani... but what a team they were😡... early on in my childhood i came to know that they had cheated my parents ... they took money from my dad promising to get him a property in bangalore.. we lived in bombay then... b'lore is our native place...and got it registered in their own names.. my dad had very trustingly signed on a blank paper and given it to them as my naana had asked for it... today that property is worth crores... and you know what... my naana and naani willed it to their 4 sons who took it without even a whimper... we were a middle class family . both mom n dad were govt employees... the money was given from mom's salary. which my dad never touched...
property ko maara goli... i missed their love beause we would never visit them... and at weddings too,, if we did happen to meet my naani would express her unhappiness that we(3 sisters) were better off at studies than her sons ke bacche... 😡
... and then i got married .. though my hubby's grand parents were dead by then . i came to know of the affection he had for them in his memories...
luckily my daugh had very affectionate grand parents on both sides...

but this is my only regret... i don't know the meaning of grand parents ka love...in fact i grew up with a strong dislike for naana and naani...
today , we are friendly with all my maternal relatives... but i realised one thing early on...never give importance to money... if it has to come .it will...but cheat never...😊

Veenaji, I am in such a position that I cannot share my regret with anyone. Overall I am a desperate soul. So leave it, some other time. Anyhow I expect some funny posts from you, please. Even I want to know how humorous are the people around. Due to my profession and the kind of subjects I deal , I won't have any place for humour. So, I want to learn how to be humorous from you all!

zaroori nahin ki har ek ko koi regret karne jaisa situation ho... ... saanchi regrets affectionately...i regret without any emotions... emotionless...😊

waise meri dictionary mei there is a huge difference between tragedy and regret...you cannot avoid tragedy... but regreting is by our choice... and i made that choice very early in life...😊

Sorry to hear abt ur naana-naani. Property disputes can change equations and damage relationships for ever.

I generally don't regret on anything in life
But sometimes I think if I was old enough when my father was ill, to take good care of him and to understand the circumstances well and to serve him as he served me ... I never got the chance... may be this is my only regret
