As always, am the last one to make any updates!! Life comes in the way😔
So, most everything has been said and been so perfectly!! Firstly #JeeLeZara team is BACK with a BANG!!! after the MM nightmare, i meant...šŸ‘

No OTT stuff, Anky was a bit bearable but their connection has not yet settled with me, it looks glued to the rest of the story.

Like how they are crafting DV's character, his EQ levels are at a diff level. Saachi's a bit different and i think it is human to be insecure. She grew up w/o her parents and may not have the perspective to think when it comes to her heart. And her anger/disapointment and also feeling a bit inferior/diff to DV is completely natural!!!!!!šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼

I have said this before and will say again - I dont really care how the storyline progresses, one thing for sure is that it will be treated with conviction and honesty. šŸ‘

Cheers to an amazing show, tis the season - Thanks for the Christmas gift CVs😊

Exactly...she felt like she didn't belong...she was feeling lost...DV's comfort level with his friends, the things they have in common to talk about that she has no idea about...made her feel that their world was perfect as is and there was no place in it for her...and this is not the first time that Saachi has expressed her reservations regarding the differences b/w them...she said the same after the confession also...but DV time and again boosts up her confidence...today that confidence basically wobbled again when faced quite sharply with the very differences she was dreading...

I do understand where she is coming from...at the same time Saachi has a tendency to MAGNIFY issues...so DV's way of tackling her is also not wrong...he wasn't being flippant or overtly casual...he was trying to make her understand while keeping a positive/light atmosphere at the same time...a tough act to manage in my opinion especially when Saachi was SO depressed today.

Ultimately they have to work together...these hiccups or setbacks that crop up allow for more communication to open up regarding their thought processes and will ultimately help in strengthening their bond...especially from Saachi's side cuz she has WAY more insecurities that need to be tackled...

I dunno if she said badi...she did say respectable...even if she said badi, I don't think there was anything wrong with it...she didn't say it with malice or disrespect...Saachi was the one feeling bad cuz it just highlighted the differences b/w her and DV more...

I think the Anky connection was alright...I'm not expecting more fleshing out than this of her background with DV...the show never bothers with that much development of secondary charactersšŸ˜†...jitna dikhaya, I think the actors did a good job of it...haan I can't say what they will show of her in the coming epis...I'm basing my opinion strictly on today's epi...Ankita was just as used as a tool to project the issues b/w DV-Saachi...

Yes, their EQ levels are very different...this was obvious even in the previous epis with the way Saachi tackled her grandmas and the way DV tried to tackle the situation...Saachi comes from a different space hence her EQ is much weaker.

I agree as of now they deffo seem to be portraying this relationship with a lot of conviction and honesty...the rest is peripheral as far as I'm concerned. 😊

Ohh Saachi was feeling such a multitude of emotions today-I mean who wouldn't be bogged down with what was happening around her?

They both needed time alone and together to sort things out and that's exactly what the CVs are giving them-uff today I can't sing enough praises of the CVsšŸ‘

And yes I agree Ankita did not mean any malice or disrespect-she was just cluelessšŸ˜†

Honestly its only today(maybe after the 1st episode)that you realize what background or EQ DV hails from-and boy is he mature or what😳

Nahin yaar...he shows it at SO many crucial points...at every point where Saachi has faltered or stepped back cuz of her insecurities or fears or pragmatism as she sees it, he's stepped up, actually MORE than stepped up to the challenge...at every crucial point he has shown his maturity, he has stood up for BOTH of them even when she's snatched her hand back...speaks for a lot.

Waise isn't it interesting that Saachi will go the extra mile to please the entire world even if she is hurt in the process but when it comes to DV, she doesn't hide her tears, her hurt, her anger...saara kuch HAQ se jataati hai, unloads all her frustration on himšŸ˜†...he's the only person she DOESN'T go the extra mile to pleasešŸ˜†...she says the age difference is too huge but rather than being the "older/mature" person in the dynamic trying to find solutions, she just gives up and wallows in depression each time and it falls to DV to lead the way out of every problem...she sulks and jataaoes her naraazgišŸ˜†

I agree Anu (thats your name right?, if not please let me know so i can address you correctly)!!

So the pattern with our CVs is that DV and Saachi continue to be the cornerstones of the show - period! The supporting characters accent their lives but it is a purposeful accent mind you. Not filler types...

So having said that, I think Anky would be short-lived if not then the show will lose its brand.

I suspect same thing will happen with all future potential tracks - PE, DV's mom and convincing her of their relationship, Prachi/Sunil track, Aadu's career, maybe Aaji's health issues track, ghar jamai track, Saachi farm - DV's career track, etc etc...

Bottomline there will be twists/turns - but no OTT drama and hoping they dont drift from their foundation 😊 I am ready for this ride, for sure!!šŸ‘šŸ¼

Some random thoughts before I disappear for a while...I'll be back with a review sometime later - fantastic discussions going on, by the way! I can't wait to jot down my favorite bits from the episode...It was wonderful!
"Ankie" just makes me think of "monkey," especially when I see it spelled as "Anky" šŸ˜† She was better today, thank goodness. I hope she doesn't become a terrible chipkali though...

"Khamoshi with dhun, roshni without ujaala..." Oh, I really, really, really want to see this being realized at some point in the show! If there's no time now because of the recent twists and developments both onscreen and offscreen, then I hope they'll manage to show this at a later time! Saachi deserves this, at least, the poor darling!

Ah. And the 5 days a week thing. I hope the JLZ team can manage it without sacrificing their quality *touchwood* I just saw Ruslaan's tweet about how he shot the dhaba scene closeups at 5:30am. Kudos to these guys, seriously. They're all doing such a fabulous job.

@Aditi: very well written...agree to each and every word..more than anything else Saachi felt out of place and I can surely say I would have felt the same šŸ˜†
She comes from such a small place and it's just that her lifestyle is totally different from DV...you know I was raised in a metro but I have always been the quiet girl, no parties ..nothing..so yeah pretty boring like saachi šŸ˜† its just my nature and then once for 4 months I worked at a big MNC...big corporate world in Delhi...it was all too much for me...I always felt so out of place...the talks of parties, drinks...basically very high society talks...it all made me feel so out of place...i was always uncomfortable there...and this is when all my life I stayed and studied in a big city like Delhi...so yeah everyone is different...

I can't blame saachi at all here...and she has always been weak emotionally...but she is so lucky to have DV...he has so much patience...it's amazing..he's just perfect! I'm curious to see how he will deal with her tomorrow after knowing the truth..

oh and I so want him to fulfill Saachi's dream date..Please! ā¤ļø

@bold: AAH, Anu! WORD to this! So much! DV's speech just came to mind instantly! ā¤ļø
