Quite a happening episode😆...sooo many character/tracks from both shows thrown in that it was hard to keep them straight in between😆...but overall a nicely blended episode...they used the principle characters well.

1) DV calming down an uneasy Saachi with regards to the party...sweet bit...especially when he shows up as usual in her bedroom...lol...asking for sazaa and all...zyada besharam ho raha tha aaj in the first half😆...but some cute bits...with him giving her a kiss goodnight on her forehead and telling her to dream of him😆

2) Saachi looks STUNNING In that pink/green sari...the promo lighting didn't do justice to it...when she wore in the in the actual epi it looked very nice...SG carries these saris beautifully...and they put in the "maa ki sari hai" bit again...lol..how many saris did her mother leave for her😆...lol@ DV saying he couldn't recognize her when he first saw her...and even more LOL@ him saying ki gussa karti hain tab I recognize her😆...but awww@ the whole family doting over Saachi in that sari...and fangirling over these two wanting to take a picture of them😆😆...LOL@ Naani's "Jitna close Ulka ne dekha tha tum dono ko" comment😆

3) DV's fantasy apparently includes a hot girl, nice car, long drive and soft music...aaj toh Saachi ki hotness pe kaafi charchaa bhi hui😆...btw this so called nice car that DV arranged to take Saachi to the party in was Mr. India types...dikhi hi nahin😆😆

4) Lots of intermingled scenes at the party...liked their entry and DV wanting to introduce Saachi to everyone...and most ppl who realized they are a couple seemed pretty cool with it...chilled out Mumbai crowd😆...that Sammy friend of DV's was also calling Saachi hot...lol...but yes it has to be said that Sangeeta was hands down THE most stunning woman in the episode today...she was glowing in that sari...Liked that bit with her taking care of that random kid who wanted water and then someone mistaking her for the kid's mother...aww Saachi.

5) Things were kinda patchy after this...what the heck was that Ishq Sufiyana dance? DV's idea of making Saachi "comfortable" is dragging her over to dance in the foreground as Ram-Priya give lovelorn looks to each other in the bg?😕😆😆...Weird editing...scene didn't have any real impact...timepass dance tha.

6) DV giving lowe gyaan to Mr. Ram Kapoor was one hilarious bit😆😆...DV toh kisi ka bhi love guru banne nikal jaata hai...I LOL'd at Ram's "Arey toh maine kaunsa LAAT maar ke pyar kiya hai?"😆

7)Last half was where things get a little bummed out types...with the entry of that Ankita...she's even MORE chipku than I was dreading...all over DV 😆😆...and DV aaj toh ho gaya carried away...pehle toh it was fine when she first showed up and was just being all pally with him...hi hello tak theek tha...but what the hell was up with that dance? meri toh kaali zubaan nikli...maine aise hi bol diya kal ki they will dance and that actually ended up happening😆...I hated that part honestly...itna chipak chipak ke apni so called best friend ke saath dance, DV? Otherwise he has eyes for no one but Saachi but there he totally ignored Saachi and was lost in dancing with this Ankita?

8) The other worst surprise of the night...DV's mom showing up and matchmaking for him and Ankita in the party only...poor Saachi...put this news with the visuals of the chipku dance b/w Ankita-DV and bas ho gaya phir toh...

Liked the last convo b/w Priya-Saachi...it wasn't preachy and conveyed some nice points...although it's hilarious that Priya is talking about the importance of trust given the kind of turns her story has taken with Ram😆...but anyways...what she said was right...they need to work on trust in their relationship...Saachi is all broken over the news of DV-Ankita's alliance...now new drama will start with DV having to convince his mother, console Saachi etc. etc.

Honestly he could have paid better attention to Saachi in the party...I get that he got caught up in stuff with his friends but that last dance was just adding insult to injury...Saachi was just roaming alone and lost in the whole party😕😕

Guess who's back after a thoroughly exhausting 2-hour exam? Just in time, too, it seems...

The first thing I see when I step into the forum and click on the previous thread is...sigs with GORGEOUS pictures of Ruslaan+Sangeeta! Instantly lifted my mood! *sigh* Whatever the MM may contain, as far as story movement (or no movement) goes, at least we get to see these two fantastic people together!

New thread...matlab there's enough stuff to talk about! 😃 Okay...Maybe not the happiest things, judging from glimpses of comments...Chalo, let's see what happens next week, then. I've done something slightly different with my review today...First impressions, live. Additional thoughts and reflections are tacked on after those first impressions.

- Terrace! Phone conversation! Awww, Saachi all curled up in bed, almost closed in on herself...Perfect way to show how much these apprehensions are taking hold of her. Oh my god, DV! I had exactly the same reaction as Saachi when DV appeared - except I was laughing within a second after the shock started to wear off! LMAO at Saachi's little punch and "Tumhaari yeh balcony!" - reminded me of RS and their jokes about how DV can open his bathroom door and end up in Saachi's room 😆

- "Suno...tum saath hi rahoge, na?" "Saath bhi rahoon aur behave bhi karoon?" Foreshadowinggg 💔 DV! Of course, you idiot! Ohh, this is bittersweet. The simultaneous "Hmm..." from both of them - awww! Cute, so cute! "And dream about me, okay?" Plus a sweet goodnight kiss on the forehead that stems so naturally from that moment...Beautiful! I love how simply these things flow in their interactions! "Goodnight!" LOLLL, Saachi pushing DV's cheek away at the perfect moment with a "Jaao!" 😆 She knew he was going to try it, haha. Fabulous anticipatory reflexes both times! 👏 😆 And LMAO at how they kept Ruslaan's "open-mouthed in surprise DV" expression 😆 Aww at the end, when the just barely begin to play Saachi's theme, and she's all worried again.

- Aah, Prabhu Niwas! I feel like I'm going to keep reacting like this every time they show Panchgani 😆 That house just makes me feel so happy, more so today than ever. Aww, yesterday DV was Mr. Sunshine and Saachi was Ms. Moonlight...Now Saachi is Ms. Sunshine, all bright and yellow and adorable 😃 LOL at the endless clothing on the bed. Aaji's "Yeh sab shaadi ke baad" surprised me...So Saachi could theoretically dress like Dils, in dresses and such, if she wanted to after marrying DV? And that would be okay with them? Oh, I think I see another one of Saachi's mother's saris! That fusebox scene one!

- Saachi in the sari: SO pretty! They gave her a similar blouse shade during the AC/cooler scene didn't they? Sangeeta pulls off all these colors so well, goodness me! And there's another bit of Saachi's theme - I want them to play this theme once, just once, without cutting it short after 2 seconds! "Deva! Itni sundar kab ho gayi yeh ladki?" Oh, Aaji! She was ALWAYS pretty, na? But being happily in love, with approval from family, has brought back that extra radiance!

- DV's grand arrival: Aww, he looks stunned! Fabulous expression by Ruslaan there, I have to say. "Saachi Ji kahan hai?" LOL at Saachi's expression, then Naani-Aaji both going, "Hein?" and Aadu making a "Yeh lo!" gesture! "Kyun?!" and "Jab tak yeh naraaz nahi hoti, na, pehchaan bhi nahi aati" 😆 Haha, these two. LMAO at DV talking about reaching agli saal ki party if they take Sher Singh...Saachi looks so affronted 🤣 But then DV's fantasy takes over - hot girl...long drive...good music, aur uh... (I know both of them, along with me, were probably thinking..."Aur thoda woh..." 🤣 Oh, DV...)

- Party time! JLZ music! Music to my ears! I already love this show's score to bits, and this is just making me appreciate it even more! 👏 Ruslaan-Sangeeta walking onto the BALH set, with their own show's music...Thank you for this, MM team, even if things end up being less than ideal later. Sangeeta's nuances - have to mention those here! Saachi looks around the house, and it's evident that she's overwhelmed and already feeling slightly out of place in this grand setting...And then she looks at DV, who gives her a smile, and she smiles back, reassured a bit...Saachi and the little girl...Awww! Makes me wonder what Saachi will be like as a mother to her own kids, after having practically raised Aadu and seeing Prachi through a fiasco of a shaadi...Saachi exudes so much genuine WARMTH...This little girl is a complete stranger to her, and yet there's absolutely no hesitation to get her water and all. Very sweet. The bit at the end, when the lady apologizes for the mistake and goes away - Saachi's expression, the way her face falls a bit even before the lady leaves and then her happiness fades completely for a moment...And then she instinctively starts searching for a glimpse of DV...*sigh* Top-notch, Sangeeta! 👏

- "Ho jaayegi..." Oh, the way DV looks at Saachi here...He barely looks away from her - I like it! 😆 The way Saachi seems to let out an almost relieved breath when she sees DV coming back to her...Her "DV!" expression when DV says, "Kissed me?" is great, too...DV totally took me by surprise there with that. Later on, the dialogue about "yaadon ka room" and the "kirayedaar" totally reminded me of JLZ.

- Pihu's surprise for DV: Saachi turns around and I'm all like, "Wow, what a friend this girl is, all instantly up-to-date about DV's special someone..." Then the "arrangement" bit came up and a red flag went up. "Look how pretty she is looking...?" Yeah. That sounded like a question to me, and my personal answer is "No." As long as Saachi was in the frame, the answer was a resounding "Yes!" but this...No. And the music. You don't use this music for that girl! Damn it, two angles of the triangle are literally walking towards DV and I'm NOT happy. Tense music and a semi-crestfallen expression on Saachi's face? No, not happy at all. Heartache for Saachi phirse shuru...

- Priya meets Saachi: "Iss tarah akeli kyun khadi hui hai?" My question exactly. Dude, DV, where are you?! Since I know nothing about the Ram-Priya story, I'm taking bits and pieces away from this conversation with the hope that things turn out okay in the end in our story. Suffocation, loneliness..."Jispar tum khud se zyaada bharosa karogi..." Long way to go...? Haha, DV shows up and greets Saachi as if she's all alone there - love Priya's teeny tiny smile as she sees DV interacting with Saachi like this - and then DV's "Oh, oops, we're not alone, are we?" sheepish face 😆 Saachi smiles so cutely here, too!

- LMAO at the L'Oreal hamper! Ahaha. Best things about that whole gift hamper deal: "Kahan the tum?" and "Too much girl talk, haan..." 😆 Best piece of advice from Priya so far today: Make Saachi feel comfortable here. She shouldn't feel like she's alone. Thank you, Priya. If only that had been taken more seriously...*cue upcoming track*

- Ishq Sufiyana: What is it with DV randomly starting to sing every time there's a function or event with songs? I still can't get that Salaam-e-Ishq thing out of my mind! 😆 Standalone, sporadic moments of random RS cuteness.

- DV the Love Guru: ROFL, Ram's outburst! 🤣 His dialogue delivery is such a hilarious contrast to Ruslaan's! 🤣 "Us MATURE types!" "Pyaar age nahi dekhta...Pyaar ka connection umar dekh ke nahi...sirf dil dekh ke judta hai." Waah waah! 👏 JLZ in a nutshell, and I like it! 😆

- DV and his mother: The downside of packing tons of stuff into a merger episode...This interaction seems so short! I'm not going to hold anything against Sweetheart and Dearheart, today since I've loved their phone conversations in our show so, so much so far. But I have a feeling there may not be smooth sailing as far as DV winning over the family about Saachi goes.

- "Main apne date ke paas jaata hoon!" LOL, so where was Saachi during the whole AV thing? Standing where DV left her back in time? *rolls eyes* Some guts DV has, to greet Saachi like he did during Karwa Chauth in the middle of a party - except this time he's even more daring, wow.

- "The best friend" arrives and it all goes downhill for Saachi from here... I think I'll have a LOT more to write about the buddy and the beauty, nuance-wise...It won't fit in this post since this is already super long...I've got my weekend topic now!

- One thing, though, is undeniable, and I'll leave it at that here. Sangeeta is a CLASS ACT. Every nuance, every minute change in expression throughout the entire episode, especially during the last few scenes 👏👏 👏 👏

- The final scene with Priya and Saachi: Ah! Love so many things about this, besides the fact that two fantastic veteran actresses got to share the screen for this scene. I think this is the nicest ending to a merger episode I've ever seen. Even if this party turned out to be bittersweet for us, with the most heartache at the end...

Random BALH Moments in Chronological Order (Yes, I watched the whole thing...)

- "Yeh log na...AAPSE bhi zyaada besura gaate hai!" 🤣

- So many triangle-ish things in this show, haha! Confusion, confusion - both within the show and beyond it!

- Sakshi Tanwar. I haven't actually seen her work (besides her cameo in Sanjivani once upon a time) so this is my first real taste of seeing her in an episode of her own show...She's absolutely lovely. Such a wonderful actress! I'm looking forward to the portions with her and Sangeeta even more now!

- Hello, Jai Kalra. It's been ages since I last saw this guy, but all I can remember is the first/last role I saw him in before this one, LOL!

- Sammy-Pihu-Suhaani triangle (sorry, square) chalu at one end...And we've got our own scalene triangle being formed here, too. Blah. Anyways, if this is how it's going to go, I'm sticking around for the ride as usual. It will just make the happy aftermath more rewarding.

- "I swear, I haven't done anything." LMAO. Yeah, Ram. Totally believe you! 😛 Hooray for getting to see Ram-Sakshi in one frame in this episode finally! Oh but then they followed that up with a random and terrible "vanishing act" editing sequence. I cringe when I see those in normal episodes of other shows...yeh toh super merger episode hai...Was there a need for that editing?

- Love square...I hope JLZ's triangle with Ankie dismantles soon.

Dv chipkoing with best Fraaand may b ekta's team directed this MM🤔😆..but DV -he has his flirty way with women ,second nature I guess , i think he will maintain distance once he gets fraands and mom's idea just like he use to be door door from Dilz when she use to try n get close to him🤣abhi ke liye benefit of doubt given -.haaan mujhse kuch aur expect bhi mat karna😳 ...acha hai hi danced with fraand now Saachi will be hurt n gussa and DV will manao her pyaar se paas khichke ☺️

Sooo yu made TIL today.. I missed many scenes in btwn but actualy not eager to watch it...
dv ghar jamaii hi bani rahe... coz iloved scenes in panchgani only...
felt sum sort of strangeness wile watching pary scenes even if it was our Dv
the opening scene was cute as always... dv landed up in saachi s room..

honestly i loved only till saachi-DV entered the party holding hands...the panchgani part was too gud as usual...saachi's apprehension whether she will fit in the party and DV's assurance was too cutely done...liked that attempted kiss and saachi pushing him away...DV always in naughty moods...

i also liked how DV was not at all bothered that saachi did not wear the dress that he had sent because obviously she was luking gorgeous and DV to hameesha uske beauty par fida...

they were supposed to leave for mumbai in the morning...but considering its after all a BALH episode more than JLZ so no spending time in mumbai before attending the party...how i wish like i already said few hours back that there shud hv been an episode between aji's permission and the party...

i know i said i watched with zero expectation...but i guess it was not zero after all wen i am looking at myself now seething with anger and frustration...

if anyone is there in this world whom i wud like to strangle rite now is ektaa kapoor...
i expected minimum screen space of DV-saachi but to actually see them as solo most of the time was beyond wildest dreams more because in the beginning of the episode saachi told him not to leave her side in the party...

i knew it actually...there hv been combo episodes of balaji and non-balaji soaps...and always the non-balaji couple either gets virtually no screen space or else their track is mutilated in the manner that their chem gets lost...
obviously ram-priya has no chem...upar se it was ram's BD all over except the dance...where was ram kapoor...was he not available...
i used to watch the show in the beginning and i am telling u guys almost 70 percent of ram priya scenes were covered by ram's BD...except the australia track where the actors gv full time...

nywyz with zero chem between the leads of BALH of course ektaa wont allow the superb chem of DV-saachi get the limelight...so here is wat we get...DV roaming around with that guy (forgot the name) who is in love with the bday girl...saachi standing alone to be lectured now and then by priya teaching her about love and trust...ok so here my prediction came true that ram or priya wud lecture our DV saachi...ok here priya did all the lectures to saachi...

watever little we got to see saachi-DV tog...they r always interrupted by that guy or else ankita in the later half...

i wil talk less about how DV actually treated saachi...yes i am pissed off with him...so wat if ankita is his childhood friend...noone ignores their gfs for just friends...
waise as i said before...DV will be comfo with hugging other girls...and saachi will be left alone...

and DV's mom...cant blame her wen DV told her nothing...wat hints did DV gv his mom like he claimed to aji-nani in ystrdy's episode...sorry if i missed those hints...if this is DV in his so called own world...where saachi feels out of place not for her status but for DV not bothering how she is coping...then i must say saachi shud take the next bus back to panchgani leaving DV in ankita's arms for all he cares...

wen DV said to ankita that he has a dancing partner...i was like oh really...i wudnt hv been surprised if DV wud be like all of a sudden "who saachi" 😡😡😡

how come DV did not intro saachi to his mom...he just met her and hugged her and thatz all...
is this the same DV that i hv loved all these months...if i got a stranger like feeling then how must saachi hv felt...

well...as for DV's mom talking about DV and ankita's engagement for that i wont actually blame DV...i am sure he is not at all aware how his parents feel for ankita...but i sure want to know whether DV has ever gvn hints to his parents that one day he wud marry ankita...

nywyz i am totally upset...although i know i shudnt bother so much because it is all ektaa's politics so that DV-saachi cant steal the show...

but i must admit in the numbered scenes that they had tog they sizzled and even with those few scene they shone brilliantly...in spite of such limited scenes they were stars of today's episode no doubt...

i am expecting our show back in form next week...and pls keep that ankita away from DV...at least make her wear decent clothes...

im curious why DV didnt tell his best friend Ankita that he is with Snachi Ji, jab panchgani mein tha tho bohoth hero ban raha tha aur mar pit bi kiya mumbai aak keya hogaya. DV u got me confused. poor Sanchi Ji... DV agar aise change ho jayoge tho phir Panchgani se math nikal na yaar...

Anuuu... great post! you & I are in agreement-every single point:)

I have nothing much to add-you said everything!

But yeah-DV really?? lifts with your best buddy?? like really??? till that point I was willing to be easy on him-but the last bit, I wanted to give him a phatka!

I guess rest of the episode-it is hard to focus on the all aspects of 2 shows especially when one of the shows has a million couples-lol But considering all this, I thought they did a good job!

I wouldn't worry so much abt his mom & her plans if I were Saachi, coz knowing DV he would convince her abt Saachi-but the visuals going with that , I don't blame Saachi for reacting the way she did!

Ohhh I can write essays(giving Borna competition:) abt SG & how gorgeous she looked today-yes she was hands down the prettiest today!:)

Dating 101: NEVER trust a guy who doesn't introduce you to his friends as his girlfriend. There's no justifiable reason why DV did not introduce Saachi to his best friend as the woman he loves. The way his character was portrayed today was in complete contradiction to everything they've shown so far. Very disappointing.

well i liked the episode only till Saruv were in pachgani..the first scene of them was cute..there phone convo and that gudnight kiss on forehead.. Saachi was indeed looking stunning..didn't like DV's coat..
and jiska daar tha wahi hua..i hated this girl in SGP and i hated the sight if her in jlz..dunno how will i tolerate her in coming epi's..and to make it worse Her dance with DV..really felt bad for Saachi.. yeah me too liked Saachi priya last convo..i too hope JLZ will be back on track from Monday..
