I think this ULKA character is very regressive in her thinking process. She is way too conservative for today's time. Somewhere I think she has a past about her life also, some painful experience. As far I remember she has been verbally loud with Saachi, Prachi and Dills. Its her way of looking at things. She is very headstrong, her opinion matters a lot to her about women in particular.

But its high time Saachi takes a stand. She has always been a peacemaker, trying to calm down all the situations. But some events in life demand facing them bravely and openly.

I echo your thoughts mate. Why aaji and naani asks for DV when they get back from the hospital, she argues as to why he should be there when it is a sort of family re-union... If that is the case, WHY IS SHE THERE in the first place?? 😡 Atleast the members of Saachi's family look forward to having DV in their midst.. Never have they wanted her around..!
