geno0309, well said. I agree that DV is aware of what he has signed up. From day 1 he is saying after all her responsibilities towards her family remaining time is what she is expecting from her... So he know how weak she is in that aspect and he is the stronger hook in this relation... and he will not give up

I finally plucked up the courage to watch the entire episode...All I can say is thank goodness I don't know the literal meanings of a lot of the words Ulka said. As it is, with my general understanding of the negative connotations of those words, I was literally watching the proceedings in shock. All three actors were phenomenal - kudos to them, I guess, for making this into such a terrible viewing experience...😳 We have to suffer through this for another week or two? I'm not even going to mention the other Miscellaneous Evils today. Ulka is enough for torture.
I feel like Saachi is going to crumble before she can rise from the ashes as a stronger woman...DV is trying to reach out to her because he's concerned and shocked, but Saachi herself seems to be bearing the brunt of the attacks and the shock and devastation resulting from those blows appears to be almost paralyzing...It was absolutely heartbreaking watching her today. There were certain tiny things about the ill-timed revelation scene that I did like...Saachi and DV trying to stand up for each other...Of course, Ulka the witch had to twist every single word and every situation into something ugly and cheap. She is very good at doing that, unfortunately. She doesn't care enough to listen or think...She doesn't FEEL for anyone but herself, does she?! All those things she said about social "norms" regarding the "proper" type of marriage being unbreakable laws or whatnot...And the veiled taunts she directed at Saachi...I felt that Saachi handled those with as much dignity as she could muster, given the circumstances...
PS - The ring...She switched it from her left hand to the right hand before going to her room, right? That's all I noticed about the ring while watching the episode...*sigh*

What has age got to do with love: Sangeeta Ghosh
Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz.
Telly show Jee Le Zara, which explores the relationship between an older woman and a younger man, has good chemistry between its lead actors Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz. And, true to their characters, both the actors believe that age has got nothing to do with love.

Says Sangeeta, who plays Saanchi in the show, "We wanted to showcase a romance, which is similar to any man and woman falling in love, regardless of their age difference. In today's times, a woman doesn't have to show restraint when a younger guy falls in love with her. Ruslaan and I bond like all co-actors do on the set. We have not made any extra effort to be friends."

Ruslaan, who plays Dhruv Goel, on the other hand, enjoys the fact that he is part of an unusual love story. He says, "When it comes to love, age is never a factor. Sangeeta is a talented actor, so we learn a lot from her. Also, we are quite similar, so I understand what she wants from a particular scene. Our friendship did not happen overnight. It was a natural process, getting to know each other like all colleagues do."

As Sangeeta adds, "Saanchi is around 35 years old, while Ruslaan is 27. Saanchi is unmarried because she has not found the right person, but she is not depressed or unhappy. So, when she finds a guy who loves her dearly, why should she shy away from expressing it?"
The next fortnight will focus on how Saanchi's family and the society refuse to accept the relationship because of their age difference. However, Dhruv stands up for Saanchi and explains how people should not stand in the way of her happiness.

Kehta Hai Dil...Jee Le Zara airs Monday to Thursday at 9.30 pm on Sony EntertainmentTelevision.

Finally the revelation has to happen in the most unceremoneous way this week and we have already seen the preassure taking the better senses of Saachi today. She already seemed so shaken by Ulka's words, which came as a jolt and buried her terribly weak confidence. Ulka's accusations and cheap thoughts have echoed the society's thoughts about such relationships and DV-Saachi have had their first experience of this today, while DV was feeling helpless, Saachi crumbled under preassure, more so b'coz she does not want her family to think the same way about her. In this situation most obvious thing for Saachi would be to avoid DV, which she has started doing already, she would also not want DV and their relationship to face any humiliaiton and hence she is sure to break away from DV and might not be able to stand by him in the immediate future.
With the ugly revelation happening and also preassure mounting from Pradeep regarding the land, DV is not going to leave Saachi alone, he is sure to stand by her even if she does not want him to and may be this is how he will make upto Aaji and Naani.

well moday's episode was for me like falling from heaven with a thud...nothing broken though lol...

starting with the kids talk...found it both sweet and too-early-kind-of-out-of-place...

for one...i cant imagine how guy calling his gf ji and aap can talk about kids...the line that made me actually laugh is something like sara din kaam karoge to raat ko pyar kaise karoge...oh gawd...such a crude statement coming from an ultra sweet and refined charater like DV...
thank god saachi didnt go all shy like not knowing where to hide because i actually felt like that ROFL...

frankly i just loved 2 scenes...the first one where saachi so relaxed-ly put her head on his shoulder and DV was all smiling and there was an expression on his face like he was all relaxed now that saachi has calmed down after the adu accident thing...
and also i liked that part where DV insisted to make tea for her but she said is not in the state of mind to hv tea...i liked it because unlike other shows saachi did not agree to drink tea just to accommodate his willingness to help...she was all honest about her being off-mood...actually i like these things in this show...there is total honestly and a comfort lever between the lovers in spite of the age difference...

and the second thing i like is that part after the baby talk...where DV was all trying to get cozy with her and she was like blushing and trying to push him off...that practical wala sentence was really gud...in the precap last thursday i cudnt get the context so cudnt understand it that time...

and then the ulka episode...well...i dont even want to waste my words on that...only reason y i will continue to watch this week is because i dont want TRP to fall even more...frankly the entire ulka episode seemed straight like copy paste from balaji shows...
ek to i dont understand y the prabhus dont keep their gate closed...secondly that ulka talk about how she trusted him and all got on my nerves...
DV just knows her because she is neighbour of the prabhus...so who is she to trust him and feel betrayed by him...all crap talks...

but i did not like how saachi was not receiving his call later on...he is worried for her and she is behaving all the way like truly she has done something wrong by getting involved with a younger guy...y do i feel ulka's words had more effect on her than just getting scared wat aji nani will think...

but i really wish this ulka nonsense gets over soon and aji nani will behave more maturely and sensibly than ulka...
but i also feel sunil will be the one will be supporting saachi-DV all the way...of course we know his motive but he will support for sure...that way i guess prachi will also support and adu will also hv no problem...

lets see now how aji-nani reacts to this issue...ulka gv saachi 24 hours to speak to aji-nani...just reminded me how saachi herself gv DV 24 hours to talk to aji-nani...i am hoping instead of individually both of them tog will talk to aji-nani...

letz see...

@ Anu: There was a tweet from Shristi Arya (a while ago-around Saachi's confession I think), the show's producer, responding to tweets asking abt this very thing-she said it will have to be special when that happens😳-so guess there is a plan for that-so don't lose hope 😊

My only immediate concern like you all is they keep the level of nastiness to a minimum-not like today!😔

frankly...i hvnt lost hope because as far as love track goes...the CVs r totally and blindly trustworthy...also there was a bengali i watched where both used to call each other aap and the girl use to call the guy as Dr. and (surname) since the guy was a doctor...even after they started courting they still continued calling the same...but the scene where they stopped calling each other aap and the girl started to call him by name (the girl was quite some years younger than the guy) was a very sweet and emotional one...

so i am trusting this show will also hv some sweet turning point in their relation where DV will stop calling her ji and aap...

but yes ulka episode shud not continue beyond this week...

i wonder y pyar ka bukhaar utar gaya because i had the same kind of feeling too...is it overdose of sweetness in the last 2 weeks...but i dont think so...i guess we were watching the kitchen romance with the apprehension of wat is going to take place after that...i guess psychologically we were not enjoying that scene...at least for me it hapend that way...all thru the kitchen scene i was expecting ulka to arrive any moment and that way i cudnt taste the sweetness (if any) in the scene...

but as i already said i still enjoyed the DV getting cozy with saachi wala scene...i am hoping instead of saachi avoiding his calls or even his presence...they wud tog try to tackle the situation...saachi shud not isolate herself from him and making him feel that he is too immature to handle the situation...that wont be rite for their relation...saachi shud show her trust on him in a crisis situation like this...

exactly wat i feel...saachi just gets swayed by DV's extremely sweet, charming and convincing nature...its true at his age no hurdles seem scary...but wen actually moments will come to confront the social issues like age...i doubt whether saachi will be too willing to fight...i dont think if aji nani acts too stubborn then saachi will go out of her way to convince them...

today i am again remembering the one sentence she told DV on the first day she confessed like how she cannot convince others because she herself is not convinced about their relationship...wat i think is that in the coming episodes saachi's that sentence will come true...it will be entirely's on DV how to tackle the situation and once again begin the journey to convince saachi that their relationship can work against all odds...

i used the term "once again"...because it has always been DV's responsibility (or doing) to make saachi see things...like even in earlier days wen saachi used to be too strict and principle minded with her family how he used to make her see the lighter side of life...then after falling in love how he convinced her that she too loves him...and now again he will convince her that age is not a big issue today...

Yes, it's INFERRED...it's not a DIRECT promise...that is the difference...has Saachi ever once DIRECTLY made the declaration to stand by with him through all the challenges? No she hasn't...because this is much harder for her than him...time and again, the strength of his love for her gives her some courage to take baby steps towards him, to give and bask in that love...but in actuality she hasn't even found the courage to tell her grandmas...and now that this situation has come out in the WORST possible way, whatever little courage was there has EVAPORATED...Saachi never had the FULL CONVICTION needed to fight this battle...she's had to rely totally on DV's strength of purpose so far...this is her first test and again she's balked...it remains to be seen if with time she will find more courage to stand up for herself and for this relationship against the challenges they face.

yes even i am fearing how much support DV will get from saachi's side...considering she never actually made all those promises that DV made...i wont say she doesnt love him the way he does...but i guess she is more tied by prejudices...i dont think if i shud say that age is reason for that because i am 35 and personally i dont feel any wrong in relationship between younger boy and older girl...also very common thing in my family...

i want to mention one thing so far my views that i expressed here have been so because i still hvnt watched or read any spoilers about this weeks...i am completely clueless wat they r going to show this week...

if actually she has turned her face when he wanted support from her then it was really quite a coward act of her...i believe in the concept that once in love u shud hv the courage to face all odds...because not doing that means u r betraying the trust of ur partner that he has on u...

but as far talking to aji nani goes...if saachi has failed even DV has failed too...even DV gets all scared and trembles wen the moment comes to talk to aji-nani...i guess also because of the fact that he wonders how much support he will get from saachi if aji nani remains adamant about age issue...

i truly believe wat DV said on diwali that the flame of love cant be kept burning by his attempt only...saachi has to bear her responsibilities too in sustaining this relationship...but before that she has to ask herself whether she is truly serious about DV the way he is about her...
