Nov. 19th: Things I liked

And finally the long awaited proposal is here! LOL itni anticipation ke baad lagaa jaise scene 2 minute mein hi khatam bhi ho gaya😆...or maybe I just wanted it to go on and on...haha...anyways awesome epi overall...


1) Loved the opening bit with DV's dialogues as Saachi presumes he's pulling her in for a kiss and she's all scared and apprehensive and DV asks her to trust him...loved his voice modulation in this scene...and the dialogues...lol only DV has that talent to simultaneously make a scene both passionate as well as funny😆...the way Saachi kept presuming that he was talking about a kiss as DV says stuff like, "Please toh mujhe kehna chahiye ki aap itni khubsoorat na lagein ki main control hi na kar paaun"...LOL yeh bechara kabse control pe atkaa padaa hai😆😆..."baad ka wait kar kar ke main BARBAAD ho jaaunga"😆

Loved that one line he said about how Love is not a math problem that is wrong or right...

Most of all I loved the tenderness with which he said, "You trust me naa?" and asked her to close her eyes...and the way Saachi gave in...that giving in was brought out beautifully.


Btw control ki baat se I have to say...for all his talk of control, DV let her go pretty easily when he had her all willing with her eyes closed and so close😆...J/K...priorities...lol...proposal priorities...man on a mission😆


2) The actual proposal...LOL he didn't even say anything but waited for Saachi to open her eyes after a bit herself...haha...but aww the actual dialogues...DV ka pyar is always so elaborative regarding what he wants to do with Saachi during each time of the day😛😆..."har shaam ko aur sundar, har raat ko aur exciting"😆

As always they changed the angles from the SBS ones *sigh* lol...otherwise loved the scene but this bit I'd wanted to see...when Saachi nods a yes after putting her head against his



But oh well...lol...more than the hug in the actual scene, I loved the way they looked at each other after they broke out of the hug and Saachi nods a yes with a smile...and her expressions...and his...when he puts the ring on her finger...BEAUTIFUL stuff.


3) The Kuch toh hua hai sequence...DAMN cute...Saachi was LITERALLY glowing through this and looked so beautiful all happy and floating in this new feeling...and all the imagination bits were sooo sweet...especially the one when she wakes up is stretching and DV kisses her on the forehead...and that feeling of everything being beautiful when you're in love...shown so nicely through bits like Saachi opening the curtains, taking in the morning, the breeze blowing through her hair...sensuous and happy...and awww@ the way she kissed the ring


LMAO@ Aaji's KARELA explanation for Saachi glowing so much😆😆...aww Saachi even put on new jhumkas today...she really is SO happy...aww

LOLL@ her imagination wala DV winking at her at the door and then kissing her ring waali finger again too😆

And then the way she was glancing at his balcony hoping to catch a glimpse but didn't get to see him...and then he comes out and sees her so happily skipping down the street and has a big grin on his face watching her so happy...aww these two...just feel like giving them a hug😆



4) Reality checks...lol after the dreamy beginning to the epi, the second half focussed on some reality checks as the issue of telling Aaji-Naani comes front and center...LOL@ Saachi's irritation with DV for making the profile still...and hain she took off the ring in a huff too? lol...loved DV's dialogues there as he tells her never to take the ring off cuz he's put it on seriously and he will ask for her hand properly too...and beech beech mein he was trying to maaro chance as well but Saachi wasn't that co-operative😆


5) Ahaa DV's confidence finally falters a bit😆...Jab actually Aaji-Naani ko bolne pe baat aayi, now he's fumbling and feeling awkward? lol...but the scenes were funny...especially the mandir ones where DV is complaining to God and telling him his math is all wrong...lol why did he have to send him 7 years later for Saachi? haha...and then DV trying to indirectly tell Aaji-Naani that it doesn't matter to him if the girl he marries is older than him😆


I guess this will continue tomorrow and for the rest of the week.

n hw he told saachi in her room that being a boy he has to ask for girls hand from her parents n he has to that ... its the rite thing...
saachi agreed to that without a second thot... she was also feeling awkward to discuss abt her own love matr to aaji naani...
loved the morning dream scene... sangeetha was luking gorgeous wd dat simple make up... or even no make up...
she was luking a bit difrnt in those clothes n getup...

btw I sooo much wanted naani aaji to notice saachis ring n ask her abt that in dvs presence..
but they wont notice that...

Aah! Anu! Just reading the post makes me want to go watch the episode again, right away. But, the muaah kaam is not going to give me that opportunity...😭

I loved the episode. I loved the proposal and I adored all dialogues that DV had today. I have mentioned in my previous post, DV style is a simple, straight from the heart talk. He does not add anything highly philosophical or poetic into his conversations. If he cant control, he will make sure Saachi knows that time and again. I am seriously not sure how he controls..but I think he takes the cue from Saachi..he will Kiss her when the time and the lady permits!

He is giving Saachi the fairytale romance she deserves. Albeit in the most realistic manner. I am so glad they did not have all that jazz of roses, tea lights or balloons...It was right in her room, on her birthday, enough said. DV and Saachi both were a delight. Their expressions were just pertinent. DV made chaand a part of is life and could not be more happy. Saachi was living a dream that she perhaps had never attempted to see. Brilliant acting by both SG and RM! 👏 Love could not be more beautiful!

I was cringing a bit on the "Kuch toh hua hai" song...it has been abused in all the shows for this particular situation so much! But that was not the point. Saachi and DV looked divine! She was in love, happy and on the top of the world...fantastically done by SG! I loved the last bit where DV looks at her and gives that smile..as if he was happy that he is the reason of change in her...for better!

The whole aaji-nani-DV-saachi camaraderie was basically to snap us all out of our dreams and to avoid further zoning out of the oomph and love these two had already shown in the episode today. Very pleasantly done portion.

What stood out to me was the Saachi's character in this portion. She is a vulnerable, lovable, affectionate girl. But by no means is she impractical. Again adhering to her character and age I am so glad they brought the big question of How can she wear an engagement ring, flaunting the big solitaire, when nobody knows of their relationship status. Very Valid point raised. Very realistic again. And what made me pat the back of the writer was that Saachi is so Today's Woman! She did not go into the mush of "Oh I should wear this ring, because its a pyar ki nishani and the ring finger is connected to the heart". Unique in its dealing JLZ kept this so real and in vogue. Her only reason for not wearing it was because of the respect she has for her elders and the permission and blessings she wants to seek! On the other hand DV makes sure she understands this was no joke. For whatever it takes, he wants her to wear the ring always even if it means she does NOT get to flaunt the beautiful solitaire.😉. He just turned it downwards...LOVED that scene!

The mandir scene was a cherry on the topping! No mattter how straighforward and bindaas he is...he is aware of the math that will be go against them. His sincere wish to God to resolve the equation, was again well done!

I am not very keen on watching the beefed up body...but looks like it will be one of the classic DV style ones..and I cant wait to see him in the white shirt thereafter...!

Because she is HAPPY yaar...so blissfully happy in love...that she is doing things like putting on prettier earrings for a change and just wanting to buy flowers...simple but sweet indicators of her state of mind😊

As for marriage...yeah it's likely that it will head towards that soon...but DV's family needs to be introduced more clearly first.

Yes, Saachi's hesitation regarding the ring was very realistically shown...and then just as realistically dealt with by DV...that is what I'm growing to love more and more about them as a couple...they TALK things out...even if their approaches are different, even if they exasperate each other...but they talk things out and deal with them...work through their problems together...the way he simply turned the ring around...yet another way DV solved a problem that Saachi pointed out...
