oh okay well it is Sanchi .. as i m bengali so we have bengali alphabets & through it we can clarify .. Sanchi is the main word but when we pronounce it, it automatically becomes Saachi,it is kind of kept silent ... & Sanchi mean something related to truth i guess & also the one saying is there 'Sanch ko ach nahi' it is written Sanch there too bt we pronounce it as Sach .. it is bit Sanskrit origin i guess 😆

edit : * just realizes someone mentioned the meaning .. it means pure like bubble 😳

Thanks for the responses, everyone :)

Interesting...I don't think Saachi is an unlikely name...I've heard it before...both in real life and in show character names.

I understand the Bengali explanation but Saachi is MARATHI in the show...so is there some Marathi connection to this silent n as well? I don't think it's an English-Hindi difference...the way a word is PRONOUNCED...the n is never silent if it's in the word...and there is absolutely not even a HINT of the n sound when anyone takes her name in the show.

It's just strange to me, that's all.

Cuz as far as I can tell, everyone in the show calls her SAACHI...but for some reason beyond my understanding the voiceover lady in the recap refers to her as SANCHI, the synopsis/articles refer to her as Sanchi and most of this forum writes her name as Sanchi...so why is she CALLED Saachi in the SHOW?😕😕

Can someone clarify this clearly?

i guess both have to b rite
may b the N is for writing only

I used to use Saachi but then I saw most people here use Sanchi.. so I just thought that was the right one. On a second thought, since her sis is Prachi, it's probably Saachi?? 😕

I guess I have my answer...it's Saachi after all😆...but they should take care to clarify it in written form then and tell the voiceover lady what the right name is too
