folks !! today i got to read an interview of shabbir in my news paper THE TIMES OF INDIA, page 3 magazine (uttar pradesh edition) ,so here i am typing the whole interview of shabbir by the journalist tushar behl😜.

SHABBIR AHLUWALIA ,the heartthrob of Indiantelevision after making a mark on the small screen is now trying to cement his place in bollywood .Having made his presence felt in SHOOT OUT AT LOKHANDWALA , this bad boy of the small screen is now set to play a terrorist in Apoorva Lakhias upcoming Mission Istanbul.
Not ready to reveal much abt his character in Mission…. Yet shabbir says , I'm playing an Afghan terrorist Khalil ,in the movie .it's an out n out black character .i can't say anything more about the character at this point of time .''
But then isn't his role a bit similar to the one in Shootout At Lokahndwala ?? 'No .My character is quite different in shootout … I played a gangster who was otherwise good at heart & a genuine person But Khalil doesn't have all those qualities," Shabbir explains .
In his short stint in bollywood .Shabbir has only played character roles .So ,is he just more n more interested in displaying histrionics from the side or will his fans watch him play the lead sometime soon ??
"very soon.There are a couple of offers that I've got & I'm contemplating them,'' he replies .
Back to where he began his career from ----TV. What does he attribute his strong on-screen persona to, given that he has often over shadowed even the lead actors in serials ??
'well ,I'm just too fortunate that I got roles that are well- sketched & are very different from the routine ones .I guess that's why I was noticed so much on television …… Perhaps more than the lead actors too ,'' he says after a pause.
And any thing special that he does to show that great chemistry with all his actresses on TV ??
'For that I just try & share a great comfort level with all my women co-stars .And THAT'S what translates on the screen as well ,'' says the notorious Rishi of kahin to hoga .
What's his mantra of success ??
' I believe in giving my best .I give preference to only those scripts that excite me and which I think will b liked by the audience .''
And what's with his rugged look??
'That's because I have mostly been playing out –of –the –box ,hard –hitting roles on both television as well as the big screen .But that's not to say that I don't work on my loks .I try and look different for all my characters .''
Not many ppl know that Shabbir is a sports enthusiast .So does he still find the time for sports ,given his tight schedules ??
'Yes I make it a point to play at least one sport ocaasionally .I play cricket ,football and badminton with my friends .I feel playing nay kind of sport helps you distress your mind & keeps your body fit ,'' says Shabbir.
