Watched the show last night after a long hiatus- I thought I was watching a detective show. Seriously. what is this? I thought the description of Kayamath on the forums says, its a love story, no it's not anymore. It's a thriller, with lots of motives, crimes, existing bad guys and gals and some new guys and gals...

Mr. Sandeep Sicand, I can feel Agatha Christie turning in her grave.

A guy who has a gun and has been spotted with the gun by folks in the house is requesting the victim to accompany him to Pune and the victim's wife has to jump down the stairs to prevent that! Meanwhile, a mysterious stranger with pink lips, has free access to the house where the murder is being attempted and guess what, he forms the core part of the amatuer detectives. The victim's wife regularly visits various "pandits" for strategy tips. Another ex--vicious-lover who ran the victim down under her car not too many months back is the head of this investigative detective team.

Meanwhile, quietly in another corner of the house Soumya, dadi and the victim's dad are bouncing around happily unaware....the victim's mother in law put in an appearence, after a long absence, even longer than mine as a viewer of the show............she missed the nth wedding of the victim and her daughter by the way....tsk tsk. And the victim hits the bottle to pull himsefl together....if he has to resort to the bottle, he is indeed a VICTIM of sorts😉

The detective spirit has picked up even in the forum, till now we had Milind's deewanis, patnis, mistresses, sisters, saalis etc etc etc, but now we have many Karamchandnis. I've been going through the forum and someone earnestly suggests the killer is Ranveer, somebody suggests it's Neev, while someone else has their bets placed on Ayesha, and the most earnest one of them all was suggesting MILIND himself is trying to stage a murder so that Ayesha and he can get rid of Prachi while Neev is just trying to support Prachi (do I detect a NP fan lurking here).

Anyway, I think that BT are not cut out for such finer forms of art such as a intricate and exciting murder mysetery/ crime thrillers and should stick to things they do well - i.e. make use of an amazingly good looking man (Shabbir) and a sweet girl in her early 20s (Panchi) for a masala romance. If they are going to trod into murky waters like a mystery or a thriller, then I'll just perch myself on bed with my Agatha Christie novel at 11:00 in the night.

So good to be back with ya'll though!!!!!!!!😃

Firstly, Sherlock Holmes is NOT written by Agatha Christie, its by Arthur Conan Doyle. Secondly, Kayamath is not a thriller, its boring and blatantly obvious and dragging, have you watched the real Poirot series (those are written by Christie) since they're so, so much better. And they make sense! I don't even know Kayamath managed to change so much...

Karamchandnis 🤣

God I m so confused right now as to who is the killer...I am sure the masked man is Ranvir. He is probably trying to keep an eye on Milsi in the party...Neev is keeping an eye on him for a long time according to his monologue. 😕 Milsi ke peeche saare pade huye hain...Ladiyan aur ladke...Prachi, Ayesha, Neev and Ranvir.🤣 This is more than just a love and mystery show...it is slowly turning to something else..... 😉

Who said Sherlock Holmes was written by Agatha Christie, it was merely the title of my topic. Devilangel, it is you that has come to the conlcusion that I believe Sherlock Holmes was written by Agatha Christie. I was not trying to be cerebral in this discussion, merely jovial, therefore threw some names for the fun element. If you want to get into book talk, feel free to PM me, and we'll talk there.

I agree with you SF, BT is not cut out for mysteries. They are not cut out for a simple love story either. I think they are not cut out for anything but pairing the best jodis around. After the pairing is done and viewers are hooked they systematically go about ruining the jodi they created with silly and illogical problems. So I am sure another senseless track is coming our way and going by past records it may be more senseless than the previous one. Such is the plight of the hapless viewer who has bitten moer than he/she can shew but is unable to let go.
