Why Michi are a greater hit than...

.....NP or MA? I was watching some VMs on NP and MA. What struck me was the two couples had such a contrasting chemistry. While MA had raw animalistic passion everytime they were together, NP had a sweet innocence about them. They were like two ends of a spectrum.

When human and divine intervention crossed the couples, we got a deadly cocktail in Michi and as to Neesha, I guess they are just dead now. Why Michi worked and Neesha did not?

The sweet innocence of Prachi has rubbed off Milind. Now everytime the guy looks at his beloved wife's face it is with all the gentleness and tenderness in this world. She evokes his softer side, she awakens the kid in him. A tenderness he never knew he possessed when he was with Ayesha, he now realises in his wife's presence.

Milsi, on the other hand, has left an indelible mark in Prachi. He has stamped himself so firmly in her heart, she cannot spend a moment without him. His intensity has rubbed off her. Even in their first c-night she was measuring up to his passion, kissing him and reciprocating his gestures. Her gazes at her husband are laced with yearning we have never seen when she was with Neev.

So each of them have taken the best quality in the other without losing their own. As a result we have a naram yet garam Michi. They emptied their hearts of their past and opened them to each other.

Neesha on the other hand didn't click because they took into their relationship only the bitterness of having lost their loved ones. Unable to empty their hearts, they closed them off for all possibilities of love blooming between them. They kept living in the past, unable to move forward. Unfortunately they have self-destructed in the process.

Well, what was Neesha's loss has become Michi's gain.

I think that the creative team never gave Neesha any chance 😳 😳 . I felt that there was a lot of potential though. Ayesha's a dynamo and Neev was fun loving & stubborn. I feel that given a chance they could actually have made a more interesting couple 😳 than Michi 😉 .. okay dont throw brickbats at me 😆 😆 😆.... I love Michi, but there's so little range to them.... At times I feel that all the chemistry and the heat is solely generated by Milind 😉 ..

Milind, Neev and Ayesha are all complicated, multi-layered personalities... I feel that any of these pairs would be very interesting if treated correctly 😆 😳

Opti dear wonderfully put I think you've said it so superbly and the differences drawn so correctly. You'r right to say that Neesha closed all options of love blooming between them being hooked to their pasts. While Michi moved on and took on each other's characteristics blending them with their own. One fact that Inoticed was that though Prachi was always internally strong it was only after marrying Milind was she able to display her courage to public view. We saw her fending off Ayesha often chiding her for her wrong actions and the fact that she fought for her right in her husband's life was a shocker for all who knew her. I believe she loves Milind more than she knows or understans. Same goes for Milsi his temperament has been greatly altered and we got to witness his softer side when he spent quality time with his wife. I was awestruck by the first c-night who'd have have known that Milsi could kiss so tenderly and passionately, the gently way n which he coaxed her to make love was so beautiful, so much so that Prachi did away with her inhibitions and that could only have been done if she was sure of herself and had complete faith in Milsi. As you said it Michi are naram and garam at the same time which makes them more compatible and their relationship more sound.

Yes, Neesha would have made an explosive pair had the creatives used their creativity. Neev was the only one who could put her in her place. We could have had a desi version of "Taming of the shrew".Alas, these people only go down the rotten beaten path of love triangles.

I personally dont think MA would have clicked. Their temperaments are too similar and their principles poles apart. Both are equally unbending, their relationship would have cracked sooner than later.

Candy, I made a topic on how Michi romance was naram yet garam in recent times. I did'nt compare them with the other jodis in that topic. You can say this topic is a variant of it. Guess I'll never tire of discussing my favourite jodi.

Candy, I want to stay clear of Shachi for two reasons.
First I am not sure of it myself although I would love them to be a couple. So I cant discuss them with the same passion since I speak my heart and when my heart is not sure obviously I will come out wrong.

Second, people here take me way too seriously. So even light hearted speculation I indulge in is given too much weightage.

So I have decided I will discuss them only if one of them openly admits there is something.

Moreover, I for one dont want to speculate based on the awesome chemistry they have onscreen. If my perceptions are based solely on that then I would be belittling their acting abilities. I sincerely feel that while Shabbir has always been a great actor, Panchi has come a long way and is matching him in every step. So their romance can look great because they are fabulous actors and not necessarily because they are having something offscreen too. That way, when Milsi was venting all his anger on Prachi earlier can we jump to the conclusion that Shabbo was actually having a fight with Panchi? I am not discounting the possibility that they may be a couple in real life. They may well be. All I am saying is I am not sure and do not want to speculate one way or other.

By the way, outside their show, they give us very little clue and the so-called clues can be interpreted either way. So I think I'll give them that space and let things happen. As long as I have my Michi rocking my screens, I am happy.
