I don't believe that only Shabbir is responsible for their chemistry - Panchi is very good in such scenes, and in fact seems more comfortable romancing her heroes!

its not only shabbo thats responsible for their once amazing chemistry,,,they both compliment each other well,,her innocence workes well with his roughness..

Muneeza, the new director is ot too new. He has been around for more than two months. About the scene I guess we will have to agree to disagree here. Maybe we have different yardsticks.

Two months isn't time time enough to become seasoned we simply cannot compare his work with Anil's he still has a long way to go.But the guy is catching up compared to the engagement confession fiasco the rainkiss was a much better edition. Yes I think we feel differently about different things the reason we find the scene different in our minds.

I agree hun it takes two to tango and Michi are a class apart but I just wanted to point out that Prachi seems to be at ease with him and looked very much comfortable in the kangan scene with him.

I would'nt put the blame on poor direction for the engagement confession scene falling flat. I think Shabbo was not well that day. He was totaly out of sorts. If Shabbo gets a juicy scene like that which gives him scope to emote, irrespective of who the director is, he brings out the best in the scene.

Take the case of the beach scene (I think Anil had left by then), the court scene where he breaks down, the chawl scene and even the flirtatious outhouse scene on the haldi day. In this track unfortuntely he has limited scope to emote. To me the kangan scene looked hurriedly shot and added in the last minute. Even Prachi's recollections of Michi moments were better although there were no dialogues in those scenes. I think it was the same director who shot those scenes as well. So I think it is a collection of factors that made the scene insipid for me. I dont expect every one to agree with me though. To each her own.
