Milsi is still in PA mode and also suffers from partial blindness and deafness as well. Prachi opened her mouth and heart to him and the guy ends up getting a headache. Now the girl is petrified that she would be responsible if something happens to him because of her loud mouth. At this point of time if she refuses to get engaged to Neev, Milsi would suspect that what she had been telling was the truth and this in her mind is not good for his health right now. Her concern for his life over rides everything. So she may just play along.

Prachi never seemed to attach much value to the engagement itself as she does to marriage. Remember what she adviced Suki on the day of her non-starter engagement before Suki decided to take things into her own hands and elope with Saket. She told her to go through with it for the time being and she will come up with a plan to stop the wedding. Even in the case of MA engagement, although Baba was all worried about it, she assured him saying it is only an engagement and not the wedding. Although she was heart broken to see the engagement itself, she held her tongue and would'nt let any one let lose their either. So I dont think she would be acting out of character if she goes along with the engagement but I think she may not let Neev actually put the ring on her finger.

As to marriage with Neev, Prachi will never take that step for anybody, not even Milsi. Unless ofcourse the creatives have forgotten the basic nature of the characters they have created.

Hun...I am totally in agreement with all of your above points...and I hadn't thought about the importance Prachi doesn't have for engagements but thats a very valid and true point...

I dont think it will be out of character because her first and only priority is to make sure that Milind isn't harmed in anyway and I reckon that aside from Marriage, she will do what ever is necessary to prevent Milind's health from deteriorating. I dont condone such a thing, but that is who she is and we all know that her love for Milind is profound and we must not forget that it is but an engagement, just as MA's was a sham, so will be NP's.

Prachi would be out of character is the track reached the point where she was even entertaining the idea of marriage which frankly I dont think will ever happen.

So Chits...I have alittle faith of my own, no matter what hurdles are thrown in Michi's path, they will eventually come together...

As much as I hate this engagement thing...Prachi will do anything for Milind's sake...It will kill her inside...but she might agree to do this "fake engagement"..

I do hate the whole idea of Prachi getting engaged to someone else...But for Milind's sake she will do ANYTHING...Moreover as Optimist pointed out, engagement really doesn't hold much significance in her life...She has made it clear on two occasions...So she'll perhaps get engaged to Neev....I don't know whats happening in KYM...All I know is that this ridiculous track needs to end soon..Its been 2 months now!
