I do agree with the Aam janta. It is too much of these Saas bahu shows that is getting on my nerves. Everything has changed now and these Saas bahu stuff is still continuing on television. It is high time Ekta thinks of something different. For that reason I like Kayamath because Prachi does not have a Saas here. If she had married Neev then she would have had Niharika as her Saas and Kayamath would have been a Saas bahu saga as well. I feel Kayamath is fully a triangular love story and not a Saas bahu story. I hope you guys agree with me.

Thanks a lot for sharing..Im just assuming its all a publicity stunt..If not its just silly.

People have nothing better to do than complaint and just protest about saas bahu dramas ??? 😕..

Actually i think its a good idea. Its not too silly a thing to protest about. Given that Balaji has ruled the television industry for so many years...many other shows by other producers follow the same formula thinking that its a sure bet to success. But if people are protesting to this extent means that we might see change...and its the need of the hour. Yes you could change the channel if it was only one channel..what to do when Ekta has Saas Bahu saagas on multiple channels and its not just Ekta's shows but other production houses also have their Saas Bahu saaga on other channels...so what do you actually turn to to get away from this. Indian television needs to acknowledge the changing times and changing sentimentalities of the viewers. They need to offer smart and socially relevant shows. I recently saw the promo for a show called "Grahasti" ...where the girls in the house tell their dadi that they graduated with flying colors and she tells them to handle the kitchen from now on because the woman in the kitchen and the men in the workforce is the fixed equation for a peaceful household. Now tell me if its not ridiculous to show this kind of crap to the viewers of today. They need to show shows that break these hideous stereotypes and promote healthy relationships between men and women and between Saas and Bahus. Its truly a shame that indian television is so much behind its times all thanx to Saas Bahu saagas.

Television is the strongest influence of this age and positive or negative messages on that tv does influence people. So if they are tired of this kind of retrograde thinking after being put through this for years, i don't blame them at all

@JC
After readin the ur reply and the reading about
Grihasti'agreeing to u certain extent..But I do think just generalising and saying just 'saas bahu bore hain' is not that effective and hence I felt like that the protest is a waste of time.

The issues in serial should have been pointed out.Bigamy(and still considered god),Loving the person who raped u just cause u r ,(KDMH)[that one just creeps the life out of me}{instead of sending that dude to prison).etc Well,I hope its a start..

But in KGGK,I liked the way Maithili was protected by women in K serials and was given justice.

I dont really watch anyother serials but that Grahasti thing came as a shock,really..Yep,that ridiculous..And this one really scares me more cause I just read Supreme couts new ruling that customary payments after a brides marraige isnt dowry,but gifts and not punishable.Horrible.

even i hated tht stupid grahasti promo on star plus !!

mom telling her daughters tht if daughters doing the household work then only the family life runs smoothely !!!! wow!! what an old minded show !!

that's why i always liked the shows of tony& deeya singh shows like jasii, jab love hua , left right left , now annu ki ho gayee wah bhai wah!!! .

i like kayamath only becaz of awesome shabbir-panchi pair !! prachi is lucky that she has no witch like mom in laws like in other shows ,baba is such a loving pa-in law !! so prachi is really lucky bahu & a different bahu from all other shows !!!!

kayamath is really unique show of ekta kapoor !!!
