Vishid, I did not even read your post until after I put up mine and it has nothing to do with it. In fact this Shachi thing has been going on for long and I had always wanted to put down my thoughts on this topic.

Strangely the day I put up my post, I read this telly buzz article which is up today on Indraneil and Barkha. I believe they started seeing each other after the shooting of their first serial was over. So you have couples who fall for each other during a show or after a show or may never fall for each other at all! So all I want to say is 'Key sera sera, what will be, will be'. Till then let us enjoy what we have - the reel jodi.

By the way, dont underestimate the power of the media Poo, though I am sure Shabbo and Panchi are mature enough to ignore it.

Just like we have fun discussing the fictional couple, some of us find it enjoyable to contemplate about their feelings for each other in real life too. It's not like we are sending out petitions to get them together🤣, and therefore I doubt our speculations affect their 'privacy'....such harmless conversations act as stressbusters, especially when the plot drags or the characters behave illogically

Further, the prospect of them being a real-life couple only adds to my excitement while watching them on screen. Until I have some concrete evidence that one of them or both are dating others, I am going to let myself daydream about SHACHI!!!!!!!!!! 😍

Kitty, happy daydreaming, dear. Nobody is stopping you from it (or has to right to). I am not speaking about you or anyone in particular. It is just that some have taken this Shachi thing way too seriously. And as you said no one is petitioning them and even if they did (which is not impossible you see), I doubt they'll fall for it.

But it would indeed make it difficult for them to be comfortable around each other if they get to know there is a sizeable gang here seriously praying for their union! (which is quite funny). Anyway to each his/her own and I repeat I am not being judgemental, just making my observations on how the viewers' (or rather die-hard fans') mind works.

Well great post Opti! loved reading it and i agree with whatever u have said.

I think its upto the actors if they want to get together, whatever we can say or do will not change anything, we can jus wish. The jodis u mentioned, kajol-srk, rajeev-amna. I loved them and i can only wish tht i would be happy to see them together. But they dont have to think like me, i wish them best of luck in whatever do. Its their choice.
